Hey guys. So lately I've been looking at small Skis companies (like Jskis, ON3p) and I heard about HG. Ive heard pretty good stuff about Jskis and ON3p and I was wondering if anyone has HG skis. Are they any good (quality, durability, base, etc)? Seems like a pretty solid company. (The ski technology description reminds me of raynes longboard technology description.) thanks
I had a set of HGs. I was on them for over 100 days and mostly skiing rails. The were really fun and I liked knowing that my money was going to help them film for their movie and put out some dope edits too. Good group of guys outta VT that I fully back. Highly recommend.
they have a dope team and good values so if youre trying to support a dope company theyre a great choice. That being said, the skis were sub par. They were fun and all, but they broke on me after like 20 days max. I had the green/yellow stingers so idk if theyre different now
I copped some hgs and they're my favorite skis I've ever ridden. Pretty much skied them year round and they held up better than any other ski I've had. If you do manage to break them they have a dope warranty policy that they're super good about. You know your backing dope people and they got presale skis on the low. Easily worth my money.
I love my Stingers from HG Skis. The bases are as tough as nails and the edges have held up really pretty well. They have a nice pop to em and a very controlled flex so they won't blow out from underneath you. HG has a respectable impact warranty so if something goes wrong they're going to help you get back out on the hill ripping. It's dope to support HG Skis because the money goes to making their Team Movie; which they've already made 3 of that you can view for FREE at anytime. so I'd high suggest copping a pair and seeing for yourself how fun they really are :)
I've had my HGs well over 100 days on both pairs of my stingers and have bought a third pair for this up coming winter. They've outlasted all my big name brand skis a ton. I really can't see buying another brand other than HG because they're the first ski that have actually been worth the money. Plus there new ski garuntee program thing is supa dope. You pay a small fee no questions asked for a new set of sticks if I'm maybe correct but you should read up on that on their website.
^ good stuff cam, but ya literally have still been using my old pair in the streets for over 2 years and no edge cracks, my safaris blew off my ski rack into the highway and got run over several times, no damage.
Undoutedly the sickest ski company out. Their ski's look so fun, and each movie they produce keep getting better and better. COTG was by far my favourite film last season, and the new flick I'm almost positive will be fire too. Have wanted a pair for years now, need to save up though. Don't sleep OP, or you'll miss out

Nope, it only applies to skis from the 16/17 lineup
There is this small independent company run out of a small Austrian village called Atomic. Check out their website

Atomic isn't really a small company and what does it have to do with HG skis?
Ordered the Keegan Kilbride model in August, supposed to come in November. I can't wait
I just wish they made smaller lengths for the short guys like me.
