Hey so I'm thinking about getting a pair of powder specific skis, I have 108 kartels as my daily drivers (also have 112 steeples for touring, figured might be worth mentioning) and I know they are great in well everything but I had moment night trains a few years ago and I'm thinking of getting something similar to those again but don't know if it's worth it. I've looked at on3p c&d's, moment ghost train/ bibbys, and atomic bent chetlers. Any thoughts? Any input is appreciated :)
If you ski enough powder and you have the money, pow specific skis are absolutely worth it.

Well that's good, and kinda what I figured, any thoughts on a pow ski tho?

Well said.
Get a pair of Praxis Protests or On3p C&Ds if you have the cash.
Honestly, I think the float on the steeple 112 was stunning for its waist width and weight. IME, it floats better than a Billy Goat or a Bibby, due to the softer flex. It is pretty wild. The only skis ive had that float better were armada bubbas, ARGs, and moment night trains. Atleast a full 15mm or so fatter.
Since the amount of time these super fats actually get out on snow is relatively minimal, I am just going to buy whatever fatty is el cheapo at the moment. Ive spent alot on fatties before, only to use them 5 times and sell them at a huge loss. Right now, Line Sick Day 125 is only $200 on ebay, which is a steal. It has amazing reviews for the 2 years it was available, 2014 and 2015. People say its the best 125mm ski on groomers, and also one of the best floating/schmearing. Ill have to test that out! Its super directional though, idk if thats your style.
My ideal powpow waist size is 108mm-112mm. Im a bigger guy a 6'2'' and about 190lbs+ in gear, I like the sinking feeling, plus it just makes you ski that much faster!
skiing pow is fun on (almost) any ski, but pow skis definitely make it more enjoyable. Any of the one's you mentioned would be a blast in deep pow, and would be a fun addition to your already stacked quiver. If you've got the budget for them, get C&D's, or if you can find some for cheap get something from DPS' spoon series.
Are pow skis worth it ha ha. Is this even a question? Of course you want something fatter for those phat dayz.
