Level 1 just announced their new upcoming movie "Pleasure" today, thoughts?
Jonah peyben and Magnus part the rest just board me.
Can't seem to find it on iTunes, anyone know if it's supposed to be available from Norway yet?
j.w.vJust watched it. Eye Trip is my favourite Level 1 movie by far, so whoever said that this was the best movie since got me hyped. However, I can't help but feel disappointed by the end result. It's a very similar to the feeling I had after watching Small World, and it's hard to place a finger on what went wrong. While the film itself has personality and isn't filled with the usual, boring commentary, something was simply amiss.I personally think Level 1 needs to go back to rider segments. Other than the Russia and maybe Sami/Rob segments, I just didn't feel the cohesiveness the older Level 1 movies used to have. I may be off here, but Level 1 just didn't enchant me for yet another year. I don't regret giving them my $10, I just hope they can make something that feels instinctively, and not just on paper
This^... What happened to ski movies? I feel like this is why everyone is moving away from ski movies and making their own "projects". Don't get me wrong the skiing is still fantastic but it's just not fun to watch. Remember athlete segments with dope music? that was much more entertaining in my opinion than location segments with weird instrumental beats and lifestyle shots. The location segments would be insane park shoots where everyone is throwing down instead of a backflip train on two tiny man made jumps. I still think there is value in this but there needs to a balance of fun creative shots and actual urban/park skiing. Everyone knows big mountain is gnarly but when I'm watching people skiing ridges and chutes for 20 minutes its gets very repetitive and I lose interest.

This. Most people can't relate to BC and big mountain riding so its hard for the common skier to relate to how technically hard the tricks and the riding is
it was pretty good.
better then partly cloudy about as good as sunny but not as good as eye trip.
luckily the incredible videography and 4k keep me into it through the boring or repetitive parts as people mentioned.
also the girl commentating it made me wanna drink bleach at times.

after further review this movie is fucking awesome!
Yeah, def gonna get on that pre-order. Hope they ship to europe...
That trailer was SICK
Going to a premiere of this in Minnesota was hillarious. Someone sends a bunch of huge lines, cliffs, and no fall zones? Crowd shrugs and thinks it was cool. The bunch boys start bouncing around and jumping over fences and the crowd goes bananas.
I would do very very bad things for another movie with the entire "Refresh" crew.
