I'm in Colorado for a week going on a couple of college tours and am stopping in Boulder for two days. The first day is going to be touring the campus of the college but I have no idea what to do the second day. My dad and I could easily spend the whole day going from ski shop to ski shop just browsing stuff but my mom is with us as well. Any ideas what we could do as a fam? We'll probably walk around town for a while but are there any good hikes around? Just throw some input down below and if you see a dumbass in a NS five panel and two touristy parents feel free to flip us off or say whats up.
but idk, I've been to Boulder once. Everyone was WAY cooler than me
Wish I was there to flip you off.
Hike or drive up chautauqua or any of the other trail heads for touristy views
Go to Illuzion glass galleries if you want to see bongs that are works of art
Cheba Hut (sandwiches), The Sink (pizza and a bunch of other shit), and Illegal Petes (Mexican) all have pretty good food
Go bike riding on some of the easily accessible bike paths
Check out the skate parks in Boulder and Broomfield
Go to the Pearl Street mall

Eldorado Canyon State Park!
stompdatMountain Sun on Pearl Street is tasty.
It's alright. The Dark Horse is more fun though and better food IMO. OP check out the Dark horse if your family likes a place with a lot of character. It's fun for all ages. Worth it just to check out all the weird decorations etc.
Really? The dark horse is just a bar with ok food. The Mountain Sun has way better food IMO. And better beer for sure.
create an idea of who you are as a person and then see someone that dresses and acts the same way and crush any sense of individuality that you believe you contain

Thanks guys for the suggestions and tips. Ended up doing a couple hours of hiking in the morning and spent the afternoon on Pearl Street and browsing a few ski shops. Mountain Sun is a pretty sweet little place and our hotel was next to Oskar Blues brewpub so we walked over there for some grub. K+ to you guys and thanks again!
