Ok so like many of us on this website i live on the east coast. And Im trying to find a summer ski camp that does not cost a college tuition. I saw woodward east freeski camp but i dont know if its really worth it. They really only have one box. Sure the tramps are great but I don't know if thats really worth a thousand bucks. And the snowboarders have those wheeled boards but us skiers don't. If any of you have been to it please tell me if it was fun and if its worth it.
You could go to ohio dreams or snow flex if you're close but otherwise woodward east was ok as a skier but the roller skis are kinda hard to learn stuff because of how heavy they are but i would say it isn't really worth it to go to woodward east for skiing. When I went we could only use the tramps for about 1-3 hours a day since you had to share with gymnasts, and if you don't do any other stuff like skate or bmx or whatever you'll have nothing to do.
Just go to ohio dreams, its cheaper and you will learn so much more at ohio dreams than you would at woodward
camp liberty/snow flex they have a whole turf mountain with a rope tow. They have jumps, rials, air bag and some tramps. not sure how expensive it is though but it is on the east coast in Virginia.
are you talking about Woodward in Pennsylvania..? When I worked there they did not have skiing but I guess it looks like they do now? TBH I wouldn't. Woodward West(CA - not Tahoe) and Woodward PA are heavily focused on gymnastics/cheerleading. If you want to go to a woodward for skiing, go to copper or tahoe honestly.
The snowflex camp is a great time. I went a couple years and loved it. It's definitely the best that you'll get on the east coast. They've got a whole mess of small to large rails and boxes. 3 jumps(knuckle, 10 foot and 30 foot) and then an airbag. The dorms that you stay in are really nice, the food is good, the activities are chill. You'd have a great time!
