Its pretty clear that poles can impact your style quite alot. From what i can tell, skis can also impact your style. Im not talking about doing butters on blends vs. Doing them on walls, i mean the aesthetic value of style. Ive ridden on quite a few pairs of skis and i always feel like i ski a bit differently from ski to ski. Is this just me or does this make sense?
Whenever I use ski blades I turn into Henrik, steeze fucking drips off me as I throw 5's off flat ground. And the butters? Don't even get me started on the butters I throw on those.
When I use those old-ass wooden skis, on the other hand, I usually go pretty fast and straight down the mountain. Can't really throw anything besides spread eagies tho... tried a butter once and snapped the sumbitches in half. I the way they affect my style has to do partially with the fact that they have no edges, are twice my height, weigh 20 pounds each, and because I have to tether my snowboots on with leather straps.
Whenever I take my pow skis in the park, I just give up on doing actual tricks and start doing weird butters and I try to be like the bunch.

I think if I clicked into a pair of Vishnu Wet's I would instantly have the urge to smoke crack because, ya know they party and everything.
it affects the way you land and shit. if you land tail heavy on some dollos theyre gonna flex a shit ton but walls on the other hand you will probably just ride away normally
Change style, no. I dont think so. But a different technical approach with different skis, I do. Cant carve with 122 underfoot and cant slash through pow on 174, 80 underfoot.
honestly id say the flex of your ski does change your style, im using the tyw pipe cleaners and they are really traditional and thats exactly how i want my style... traditional. i def feel that if i had like a more flexible ski i would have that grimy looking style that henrik has.
I would say that boots have a bigger impact then skis. Once I bought Full Tilts I could throw nose butter dubs.
For sure. I skied on DPS for 3 years and it ruined me.
Yes, I bought T-Halls and became a race hating and critical douchebag
if i wear tight snowpants i shifty a lot if i wear baggy i butter more
