Which is easier? 270 on or 270 out? Recently I just started learning 2s onto boxes and tried it once onto a tube but caught a crazy amount on my front edge. What's the best way to make sure I'm doing them right? Obviously looking down the rail helps but I want to be able to 2 pretz 2 by the end of the season. Thanks homies!
270 out is definitely easier by a long shot, front and blind 2 are both pretty easy front usually comes first for most people but some pick up blind faster. spinning onto rails is a little different story maybe get those spins out first

I've got 3s both ways. I never thought about doing a blind. Tomorrow I'll have to try and 2 out. You got any tips for your guy; my guy?

For front 2 out, scissor your leading ski and dig that edge in.
For blind 2 out, dip your leading ski and look the spin around with your head/shoulders.
If you've got 3s both ways you shouldnt have much trouble with either of these and then progressing to 450s out will come easily. Keep covering your bases with both way spins/switch stuff like that itll help you in the future thats sick youve got both way 3s.

Thank you a ton homie! 10/10 k Colin your way!
I'm hoping I can learn a bunch of shot tomorrow.
Make sure you pop off the end of the rail for both front and back 270's otherwise you won't get the rotation properly and end up bashing your skis into the side of the rail.
CameraWizI thought I was about to get 270 tips..
I thought it was going to be about tips under 270 on.
Most people would find 270 to be a bit simpler to learn than 270 on!
For 2 on I found it was easiest to get down by looking at the top of the rail until I was locked in and then turn my head around to look down at the end. For 2 outs if you want to try front 2, try it on something you can scissor on such as a skinnier box or tube as it's fairly hard without scissoring while back 2 you can sort of just get the feel of it down on a butter box then move it to a smaller box. Pretend that you're trying to pull your ski off the rail as if it was stuck and you can only get it off at the tip, although it's a big exaggeration it should help you get the scissoring feel.
out is definitely easier and less scary to learn. I can 2 onto boxes too, and occasionally a tube, but anything harder I can't really do
Of all 2s on and 2s off, the only trick I can do consistently is sw 2s on. Try it out. They aren't that difficult and you don't go blind so it's not intimidating. The hardest part is figuring out the pop and not slipping out while sliding unnatural lol.
Repetition man. Keep trying. It gets frustrating but just keep going for it.
270 out is easier. For 270 on you have to lock on to the rail which makes it harder
270 is way easier, if you wanna learn 270 on though what i do is i dont think of it as a spin onto the rail, think of lifting your feet up and over it. I sort of set my should and arms and let them rotate and then pop my feet up and overs the rail and then let the momentum carry my body around.
Thanks for all the tips guys! I appreciate it a bunch!
When I 270 on I throw it like I would normally throw a 360 but when I get about 180 over the rail I lift up my knees then just plop them right onto the rail.
Update: learned how to 27 out my regular way this evening on about a 3 foot wide box. Thanks again everyone!
Spinning off boxes is harder than off rails because its harder to grip the edge
Hopefully this will you out bro. You're progressing fast, if you keep it up you'll be able to do a lot more by the end of the season!!
The.Fishany help?
Pop then spin off the rail and fully commit. You're not getting any height off the end of box on most attempts.
Out is easier. I find front twos easier. Just scissor hard and look over your shoulder a bit.

Turn your shoulders more. Making them completely in line with your skis when sliding sideways will help you 1.) Scissor a lot more effectively and 2.) allow you to use them to charge up momentum to get that spin off

My main problem is that i cant scissor the thing. I know to drop my heel and stuff and i do that to get off. Im just gonna wait for a tube to come in.

try putting more weight into your scissoring foot. It's more than just dropping your heel/toe. you have to dig your edge in a little bit for it to give you enough momentum!
I tried it on a skinnier flat bar that was longer today and got it after like 12 attempts. I was able to grip the rail every time on that one atleast but it was a matter of timing since it was really long.

Find a long tube and go sideways more to get the siccoring down, then you just easily pop and rotate with shoulders and hips. After u get it once, you will get it most tries after. But dont overdo the pop because it will just mess up your trick. Good luck trying :)

We aren't privileged enough to have tubes.

Well for me it was easier to learn 2s out of tubes but scout a rail u find comfortable practising 2s out/on on :) #fuckgrammar

I got it yesterday on this skinny flat bar. It feels way easier to grip.

Nice! Dunno, but a really slippery tube is good too. you get the feeling of spinning out of a rail there fairly easily, just siccor a bit and feels like you dont have to pop out of it at all LOL
It is sooooo much easier to me now on this thing

Nice, now just do that every single run and you will master it in no time!

There are only 4 rails up and I can only hit two of them so i kinda have to do it every single run.

Nice work on the video... you guys should post more of these. Maybe hit up Twig and see if you could get some hype for your site by doing regular trick tip stuff.
