Hello, I am a 17 year old skier who has been skiing for the past 8-9 years. I would consider myself a pretty good all mountain skier (Blues and Black diamonds), but recently I have also found some fun dabbling in the park. If I were to give an approximation of what my skiing consists of it would be 60 percent all mountain, and 40 percent park. I am 5'8", but very light weight (130 pounds). From my research I believe the two skis I listed in the title are good, but other suggestions would be awesome too. Recommendations, reviews, and just overall advice would be great! Much appreciated.
Chronics are nice but the topsheet chips like a bitch. They're not that flexy either. Take a look at the on3p Kartels, E-dollos or the B-dogs. Those should all work good for you. The E-dollos are about the butteriest ski I've ever seen. Don't know much about the kartels but heard a BUNCH of good things about them. B-dogs are basically a more all mountain version of the E-Dollos.
Appreciate the reply, currently researching all the options you gave me. The Kartel seems like an awesome ski, thanks for telling me about it. Quick question though, Armada Edollo's being so flexible do they have the ability to hold an edge that well (I'm pretty light so maybe it will work for me).

Yes, they hold an edge pretty well, I've never personally ridden the ski but the guy I ski with loves them so much. It are a great ski. Also, if you are thinking about getting the ON3P's, they are just about the most bombproof ski you can buy. Everyone of ON3P's skis are very very durable and have some of the thickest edged in the industry.
K2 shreditor 92 is also a pretty good for what your looking for. I have a pair of those and there great. Hold a great edge and there sick in the park. Only problem is they chip kinda easy on the tip but other than that there dope.
If i were you i'd go for armadas line skis just fall apart really fast maybe go with volkl skis
I ski basically the same terrain as you. 60/40 all mountain/park, and I love my el Rey's. I owned my 1st pair for quite some time and out grew them. So when it was time to get a new pair I just grabbed a new set of el Rey's. They're durable, light, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
i got a season of 85% park skiing in and my line chronics are still great, yes they have chipped top sheets and a few cracked edges but thats expected. i have throughly enjoyed them. plus the flex is still good for butters and stiff enough for good pop.
great ski
you could also try icelantic nomad sknys (or the fatter version if you like wide skis). i have them and ski mostly all-mtn, but from what i've heard they are great for the park as well. if you're on the east coast, their performance on ice is not the best, but they absolutely rip everywhere else. they are on the stiffer side (but still playful), so just be mindful of that when you're learning park, since some newer riders tend to prefer more forgiving sticks while learning.
but overall, they're lightweight all-mtn twins and suuuuper fun!
