I'm looking to get new skis sometime later in the year maybe and I have a knack for beating up my skis. I currently have K2 press and have started to see the base peeling off under the toe. I also have huge chips and overall damage all over, top, bottom, and sides. Basically i'm just wondering if I should get the line afterbang cuz i heard they're durable af or are there other super durable skis that are a little lighter in weight. Anything helps. +k for helpful answers
The after bangs are sweet skis made up of mostly wood (skate deck construction) and the 2016s lookin like pizza boxes and the bottoms all cheesed up and such they are a must cop for a good price.
I wouldn't call Abang a durable ski unless you're on a budget of $399. Spend an extra $100 and theres a whole world of more fun durable park skis out there!

Those are all anywhere from $499 -$599 and durable. I listed them for you in my order of preference.
geibimo they are super sick
Are they slow because i have heard that the extruded base makes them not hold wax and go slow

thats the downside, extruded bases are slow unfortunately but you can keep them fast by waxing more often. but the good thing is its cheap.

Ok and also, are they heavy ive heard they are
honestly I'm not a genius on afterbangs but the 2016 ones seem like they are lighter then the older ones. i have had the old ones without the fancy tech, but if you want more info then check the review section. the after bang is a pretty popular ski so id think there is alot of info on em.

Hey man, yes they can be. I have Line masterminds(which also have the extruded bases) and they've been good to me, but you should definitely get your own wax iron and wax because you'll prolly to be waxing every 2-3 days. The Afterbangs do seem to be pretty durable (ski of choice for Max Hill), but some rub on might be worth carrying every day as well. Best of luck in your search my man!
