Just wondering what people think about line afterbangs?
I got the 12/13 bangs and they will never break, thats for sure. They are pretty stiff and a bit heavy, but absolutely bombproof.
Pretty good ski. Skied on them for 3 seasons and the only reason I changed is because I like a stiffer ski and a bangs are like spaghetti imo
Most people either love them or hate them. Check out the reviews tab for in depth views on them
They're an okay budget park ski. They're good for people who are new to park skiing or just want a fun cheap ski to mess about in the park with. Their biggest downfall is the extruded base IMO.
If you're a more advanced park skier who hits a lot of pipe and big features or plan on skiing outside of the park a lot I would look at a stiffer ski with a sintered base. Something like the Line Chronics, Volkl Walls, ON3P Filthy Riches, Armada AR7's.
You get what you pay for.
I wont buy after bangs simply because they have extruded bases that are really slow
I do not own afterbangs but my friend has a pair and I rode them. There really heavy but pretty flexi. They seemed to scratch very easily tho.
I've owned 2 pairs of after bangs. I got rid of my first pair because I thought I wanted the bdogs but I was way wrong. I have super weak knees but love to butter and flex things out but don't really have a lot of time to break in skis since i ski twice a week. I'm not a super heavy park skier but i definitely take laps through it every day I ski. I can bomb hills and never have a problem with speed or handling. They're literally my perfect ski except for the fact that they do chip away pretty quick on the top sheet. But for less than $300 they're amazing. My honest opinion on them is about 9.2/10
I have had 2 pairs and they are my favorite ski I have used so far. They are really fun to ride but very heavy and delam really easily. Both of my pairs delamed on 3 out of the 4 tips on the ski.
They have advantages and disadvantages. When you have a flexible ski you normally give up a lot of stability, but the afterbang retains that stability through the sacrifice of having a heavy weight.
The older models had lots of delam issues. Not sure if the new 3d shape fixed those or not.
they are good but quite heavy. not the worlds best park skis, but durable af

In at about 20 days or so and haven't had any delamming. I have had some regular tip sheet damage but that's it.
