Sniper taps and legit tailpresses for me. Took several seasons to learn how do do them properly. I still have problems doing sniper taps.
sort of an obvious answer but unnatural tricks
i almost never slide rails unnatty (unless im spinning into it, for some reason that makes it easier) and my ego just can't handle people seeing me slide off a rail early and thinking that's my natural side
50-50 360 out was harder than I expected
S rails suck to get, but that feeling when you get it is unmatched.
yea I'm going to have to say a nice looking 3. When i first learned them i was like oh yea this will be easy, but the style part took a bit of time to dial in.

Very true. I got 3's down last year and I'm focusing 100% on style this year instead of going for bigger rotations.
I looked like a fucking pencil when I first started.
spinning out of ski slides... just can't do it
Hand drag 360's over a knuckle and nosebutter 360's are ridiculously hard for me.
zero spins
regular 360s
butters (or maybe that's just me)
S rails... not even doing tricks on them, just managing to slide the whole thing
180 to switch 50-50 pretzel 180 out on anything but boxes is pretty hard, but I wouldn't say it looks easy either
for me an nosebutter 3 looks so easy but its so hard to do it that it looks nice
and flat 3... i dont know why. i know the theory and do it on a trampoline but on skis its hard

haha, straight up an ego thing for me too.
good looking blunt/cuban/stalefish grabs with spins took me a while to get under control as well
I cannot nose butter 3 off a knuckle to save my life.
Mines nothing special but riding switch over my right shoulder (unnatural) is a so hard
Actually holding a backslide for more than a couple feet. Also cork 3's.
Spinning off a downhill take-off. Never will get it.
Cork 3s ... took me two seasons
pretzel blind spins off rails
GrantLewisIsDNTMspinning out of ski slides... just can't do it
tighten your core up when you spin maybe bang out some crunches the night before, youll be doing 5s out in no time
Flat 3, but mostly because the last one I tried I separated my shoulder
GANDALFSpinning off a downhill take-off. Never will get it.
So hard. I've just given up trying.
GinTable180 to switch 50-50 pretzel 180 out on anything but boxes is pretty hard, but I wouldn't say it looks easy either
grip the rail with your inside edges, make sure your skis arent glued together either
Im stuck on cork 3's got the 5's but i can't seem to stop my rotation for the 3
spinning onto rails took me a long fucking time to figure out, spinning on and spinning out was super easy though which makes no sense to me but whatever.
and I just don't go upside down. I'll cork 3 sometimes but the risk of hitting me head more outweighs a lot of things.
throw it like a three and once you reach 180 dip your shoulder
Hitting chad's is pretty hard I hear, ask Tanner's ankles.
uncorked spin's. for some reason i'm way more comfortable with corks/rodeos ect.
riswinefuck you people suck
Ballsy way to begin your NS career
I would safely say 98% of tricks are much harder than they appear
I can't grab either one of my tails. I've tried so hard but never have I haver done it.
Backslides are so hard for some reason which I cannot fathom
I just really can't judge how hard to throw a backflip I just always over rotate
R.I.P to my back
Zero spin truck drivers still scare the shit out of me
SDrvperObvious alias is obvious riswineLip 2 is probably world's scariest and "harder than they look" trick in da world[/QUOTE
Only for lil bitchez....
freestyler540I would safely say 98% of tricks are much harder than they appear
For sure. I think 180's and safety grabs are the only things that came easily to me.
-overshifties when you are backwards in the air. I almost died trying this the other day and I have so much respect for anyone who can do them properly now
-cork 7s have been fucking me over for 3 years ( I did kinda give up on them 2 years ago) I just seem to stay corked :(...
-4s out of rails that are barely off the ground. I CANNOT DO THIS SHIT. I seriously dont know how people can spin so fast I get scissoring but when I try my body just says no fuck you and I stop and edgecatch to eat shit a bit past 270
-Nollie onto rails. I always just look like an idiot when I try them but thats probably because that is a legit trick that is only for good skiers

If you pop hard enough they aren't terrible, they won't be consistent but they will happen. You need to rush it a lot and it just looks kind of dumb.
fuck switch 7s. Fuck them so very very hard.
Somehow i just can't do flat 5s, it always spins to 7 when i try it
The referenced post has been removed.
I tried earning how to hit rails switch this weekend and learned switch talks over instead of just switch on. Total awesome accident.
I'm gunna say that 3a are the hardest tric ft me though.
Jon_Taffergrip the rail with your inside edges, make sure your skis arent glued together either
Thanks for the tip!!
tommedapommeI just really can't judge how hard to throw a backflip I just always over rotateR.I.P to my back
You need to spot the landing, not just tuck so you now how much more or less rotation you need. Then you will adjust and the chances are a lot higher that you land it.had the same problem before too.
And layouts are cool...
