Looking at getting a pair of freeride skis, right now I'm torn between the faction Candide 3.0 and j skis the metal. Any thoughts or ideas on other skis, I like more micro brewy ski companies
Those are solid choices. I ride the blizzard gunsmokes and love them but these are both great skis.
The JSKis will be on the soft side, I guess it depends on what you're looking for out of a free ride ski. Do you want hard charging directional, surfy feeling twin tip, somewhere in the middle?
Judging by your two choices of skis, I'd also suggest, On3p Jeffrey, 4frnt YLE, Atomic Bent Chetler, Line Mordecai, Line Magnum Opus, solomon rocker 2 120. I know you want to stay with the smaller guys but some of the big guys make some awesome skis too.
stinky_peteop get the 4frnt devastator, trust me
couldnt agree more.

Mr.PenguinThe JSKis will be on the soft side
No they won't. The Metal has, well, metal in it. Not a soft ski.
