Let's not be assholes to each other you know who you are lets just make hyland a good place to ride and have fun
gayprinkthey definitely have lots of features but don't know how to use them so they end up using the same ones constantly. They made 2 really good rails last year but havent really done much this year. its still fun but after a while lines get pretty boring so you have to get pretty creative.
damn thats dope but at the same time kinda wack- they could have so much more potential
cannonsburg made a new rail every friday last year lol
.otto.wait explain? Is the stoke unreal and where do you ski now?
After 4 years of calling hyland home I moved up to Duluth for the schoolings. Spirit has 700ft vert compared to 150ft at hyland. They have a rope park and a chair park, far fewer crowds. Chair park is super nice because features are adequately spaced so you can ski fast and still have time to think. The quality of skiing is much better, I'm spoiled and don't want to go back. Spirit has it's hiccups (big park isn't fully set and it's february), but I'll always take it over an average day at hyland. Best day of my season so far was just last monday where 5" of alberta clipper snow hit and I just lapped the steepest run spirit has for a couple hours and didn't touch the park at all, wouldn't have had as much fun at hyland because it's pretty much impossible to get more than 3 speedy turns before you hit the bottom.

I actually know his mom and she's cool.

This is the issue with my resort in down yonder Michigan. The features are so tight you have no time to think if you are trying to get a line going. And forget about hitting the next feature if you land even a little off balance.
With the vertical drop on our steepest and longest hill you get maybe 4 turns at full cut at max. That's the curse of midwest skiing. Fortunately next year i'll be in Houghton. 5 minutes away from Mont Ripley and about 30 from Boho. I cant wait.

Yessir
If you're a noob like me it's hard to just send it lol.
I guess it's just an issue of them being diagonal and close so it gets hairy. Idk.
Not by any fault of the park crew though. They do a good job with what they've got.

Ripley is my dream hill, most fun park I've ever ridden and there's a natural terrain bowl on the way to the park from the chair that you lap it with. They've got 2 or 3 rails that curve up at the end and they're the most fun rails I've ever hit.
Can't vouch for boho since I haven't experienced the "God tier" conditions yet. Last year superbowl weekend was good snow but it we had bad flatlight. Went twice this year, day tripped early January and I found feet of untouched powder but it was too heavy to sink into even with my 90 underfoot park skis (drove 14 hours for 3-4 hours of the most flatlight skiing I've ever had on 2 hours of sleep). Second trip it was 40 and raining overnight but slushy mogul laps saved me from getting let down. Maybe it's just bad karma for not investing in something more than a park ski.
Lonely30 from Boho. I cant wait.
Forgot to mention: You spoiled piece of crap. You will get some very deep days under your belt. I'm jealous.
