make a second snapchat account and send a snap to it whenever you do something cool or remotely interesting or even send yourself nudes. I'm making one starting Jan 1st for a 2016 snap bank
or you could just save the photo to your phone and call it a day?
a_pla5tic_bagor you could just save the photo to your phone and call it a day?
It wouldn't be the same idea. What he's saying is make a second account. Then log back into your original account. Don'r open the other account until the end of 2016. Send snaps of all the stuff you did over the course of the year to that second snap and then at the end of the year play them all back to relive the good times and the bad.
It would be different than just saving the pictures because you'd be able to see those whenever and it wouldn't really be that special. But if you were to forget moments over the course of the year, and then relive them all at once, that'd be pretty neat.
No thanks. I may take a quick pic, but Id rather live in the moment.

if I forget a moment from the past year it's probably not worth reliving.
VinnieFif I forget a moment from the past year it's probably not worth reliving.

Depends. If you have a bad memory, like myself, you tend to forget a lot of things; even important things sometimes.

This is probably true. I have no idea honestly, but I wouldn't doubt that in the slightest.
1 second every day
its an app that does this same thing, albeit 1 second. Look into it, might be easier than snap

That's a cool concept.

You're right.

"If a snap is still unopened after 30 days, it too is deleted from our servers."
Damn, I was hoping this would work. That woulda been cool.
so you save them all so that you cant see them so you can see them all once at some point and tben theyre gone? whatever floats your boat.you cojld send them all to an email if you wanted to or just make a folder.
Damn, I was really excited about this idea! That 1 second Everyday isn't the same because you have to have the pictures saved on your phone already. If anyone thinks of another way to make this work that would be dope

you guys are so incredibly creative. if snap chat cant fix my problems theres no hope.
youre killin me smalls
last thing people need is another excuse to point their fucking phones at everything they see.
better idea: buy a cheap, small film camera (re: olympus xa, or multiple disposables) that fits in your pocket and snap everything cool that you do. don't get any of the rolls developed for a full year and go straight to prints with it. hard copies of your memories. imagine that.

lol whats film?
PS I love finding random rolls or disposable cameras and getting them developed. that random " I have no idea where these are from or even what year" feeling when you look at them is awesome

No don't tell people that. Let them to do it and find out for themselves. It'd be hilarious.
I did this all last year, a 1 second a day video. I took a one second video of whatever I did that day or something that was cool to me that day and compiled it into a 365-second clip. I actually have a clip or two of Ian dancing and then being attacked by my small dog. It was really cute and almost tear wrenching to watch once it was finished. I would shoot, import almost immediately, and add it to the project with the date at the bottom, and then close it. Thanks to my terrible memory, I didn't remember the shots I had put in until I watched it.
