so far I've heard that its a warm start, followed by a february blizzard, and then a major thaw in march. Someone please prove me wrong. I dont have enough money to move where theres more snow.
Head to Killington. Heard they're opening earlier than planned.

Ive heard its suppose to be a long cold winter on the east coast (which is good IMO) who knows for sure. Its too early to tell.
The east never usually is skiing until late november/december and the fact that killi and sunday river are already ripping is a good sign IMO. Hoping for a cold one though fingers are crossed.
Where did you hear this shit haha? We can't accurately predict the weather next week, but yet we somehow can predict a major February blizzard and a warm March? Yea ok...
ive heard the aliens are gonna blow up the east coast so it doesnt matter

Dude its Nov 2...chill out. Supposed to be a killer year due to the nino anyways. Every year their predictions make no sense considering we have such bipolar weather the past bunch of years.
Guarantee we will be skiing in decent conditions by mid December at least in southern VT.
Or look at it this way...Tahoe last year had to close down mid season because it was so bad. Can't get much worse than that.

It's too early to tell because it's the first week of November. So far they're saying that the front that's out west right now is headed east. Hopefully it'll get colder soon so that all of us that are on the east coast can get in some days before Thanksgiving (fingers crossed).

One can only hope. I can't wait to check out west mtns new park, sounds good this season
Its 70 in NH now but its slowly gonna get colder. Still pissed about it, 2 weeks ago I had to wrap a blanket around me at home and now I'm comfortable in shorts and a t shirt
The El NiƱo is hitting hard in MN. Not east coast but it's probably the same out there. It's been 60 on days it should be 40. Not looking good for us midwesters.

My mountain projected opening on the 27th.. thats 13 days earlier than last year. Yesterday it was 20 fucking celsius outside its bullshit.
Warm = later start but at least we can ski in hoodies all year
