we have like two shotgun rails and a box and this huge jump like the gap is probably an easy 10 feets
Check out the transworld resort poll. I know we're not supposed to walk about that on here but they do a pretty solid poll every year.
Everything is subjective but, it gives a good idea of some of the best parks out there.
snow valley, Edmonton has the best park in the whole world.
well the big ones are normally:
mamoth
whistler
summit county
tahoe
pc
and a bunch of euro places
maybe missed some, i dunno

yeah i hear tahoe is poppin
honestly think big boulder is up there with the mountain and climate they have to work with
Keystone, breck, and park city are always up there.
Can't believe this thread had multiple midwest shout outs at the very start.
But seriously look up the tworld resort poll.
East coast is 7 springs, Mount snow, Loon, Killington, Waterville Valley, Sugarbush etc generally.
For CA probably Bear and northstar. Heavenly kills it pretty hard too. Seirra Tahoe used to, but not sure if they've been bumping as hard recently. Also June was sick but I don't even think that's a thing really anymore.
For the midwest(don't ride there ever) Maybe Cannonsburg, Granite Peak, Hyland hills, and Troll in no particular order.
I usually shred Keystone but I hit up Breck last season. The park at Breck had tons of rail features most of which were pretty unusual and creative

absolute park has some cool features and its pretty big
hoodcrewbrighton has the illest rail park
brighton is the illest in almost any respect. definitely my favorite resort.
Perisher is the most lap able park in the world. Ask anyone that's ever ridden there. With a 3 jump line and a plethora of rails is my favourite park.
Pc is great for progression, they have neffland which is really small then 3 kings with a little of everything, then theres the super park kings crown

I believe anywhere in MN and Wisconsin is the most lap able park. If you don't got a tow rope don't say "the best lap able park" or "hot laps". Cant find any faster laps than in Minnesota
Vail @ Park City is mega dank
I had a blast hotlapping northstar one year
Brown always has the goods
S/o to otsego club in Michigan for having one of the most fun Midwest parks I've ever skied

Perisher has a T bar next to the Front Valley Park.

Everywhere in MN has a tow rope a.k.a 4 times faster than a T bar. All of the parks I go to actuslly have 2, one in each park or sometimes 3ven 2 in the same park. Cant really beat that. You also don't have to go to eh bottom to go get a T bar because you can jump into the middle of the tow rope
Granite peak is the Colorado park of Wisco, gonna throw that out there for anyone who hasn't figured that out yet.
End of season Sun Valley is rad. Lappable big jump, fun flowy rail line, Slush pipe, not much better than that

4 times faster? Those must be pretty intense. I have ridden some fast rope tows in NZ but none are that fast and you have wear a harness and use a nutcracker. Not sure why all the pros are not going to MN to train if its so good.

lol not gonna lie its about a 10-15mph tow rope. 30-35 seconds to the top. Get about 3-4 features each run or 2 small features/small jump or a big jump each lap. I get too tired from lapping so much haha.

Spirit and Giants Ridge got the hottest laps
Couple of underated parks:
Giants Ridge is one of the best parks in the midwest in my opinion but never hear anything about it besides from John. In Tahoe I don't think I've ever heard anyone mention Sugar bowl in the context of park but they kill it with what they have to work with imo.

Oh god, here we go again.
"current best parks" and it's all just "I'm from the midwest therefore it's awesome"

It's like they've never spent a day lapping A51 with no lift lines.

It's not the best, the features can be pretty janky. It's the best for its situation and a little under rated imo.

Ive done both. If i wanted to just hit rails id prefer troll

It's been shit the past two years. Small jumps and weird rail setups. Although their small park has a flow that I've never seen anywhere. Its really fun. They also made a huge skatebowl this year which was fun when it wasn't pure ice. I got hope for the upcoming season.

Its cuz we are spoiled out west but superlaps are king. Top to the bottom which takes you a good portion of your time with tons of riding involved.

It's quantity over quality. Skiing the midwest is like having a micropenis but you get mad bitches and are a certified sex hound.

see thats whats fun too about the west. You get to fuck around for half a lap before a nice long park run. A 7 min high speed lift ride is plenty fast enough.

Combines both all mtn shredding with park laps, I love going up and hammering some chutes or something then hitting some park booters on the way down.

Sugarbowl? Maybe back in the day. They have perfect terrain if they wanted to have good parks again but the last time I was there it was pathetic.
HG_Skissugarbush
I've heard they have one of the better parks in the east, I'm gonna be in Boston this march and I was hoping to ski some ice coast park. And to me what makes a good park is a combination of a few things; legnth/time it takes to lap it, having a good lift/t-bar with a short line, and a park crew that knows how to shape. Anything else is a bonus.

I'm from the midwest and I'm going out west next year to get better parks and better skiing. Not all of us kiss the midwest's ass :p

I just felt the need to harass people while they're down. "Hey there, I know it's cold, your "mountains" are tiny, you don't get any real snow, but let me kick you while you're down"
I'm just a bad person.
Have fun out west.

Haha no, you're fine man. I get your point and thanks!

He will too. Way more than he would have had in the flatlands.
