The trailer finally dropped for their two year project today. I'm easily more stoked about this than any other movie this year.
I got so hyped when I watched this!! So damn stoked to see it!!
Easily the best and most stoke inducing trailer this year. Cannot wait to see the full thing.
Cannot put into words the amount of stoke that is had. Much stoke.
Looks amazing, 10/10 will watch more than once

this
Everything about this looks so perfect! This will be a good one for sure!
beautifully shot, can't wait to see it in full!
That trailer closer where they've made the snow barrel, so damn awesome.
just watched it for my 6th time today. So beautiful
SHit got me finna rewatch everything Nimbus has ever done. Cot Damn.
Now that's how you make a ski trailer.
Do want!
Best trailer I think I've ever seen. Really missed Nimbus, the film should be incredible!
RIP Lou Reed.
Thanks for the love. We're very proud of how it came out and can't wait to release it.
Time to fap again !
Seriously this trailer is so fucking steEzy !!!!!!!!
It's incredible the amount of control all the nimbus riders have. Everything looks so effortless
First trailer in a while that's got me so excited for winter, skiing, and adventure. No surprise that it would be Nimbus to do that. Might need to go watch idea now...

Loved this little teaser from Chris' page. That switch zero and then what I think was a monster threw were pretty tidy looking. Drops tomorrow!

I got it on iTunes today... But its the 6th here in NZ.
I just got it off iTunes, and I really enjoyed it. Good filming, good music, and good skiing. If you want triples over 80 foot tables, straightlines down Alaskan spines, or gritty urban segments, this is not the movie for you, but sometimes it's cool to see how a few legends approach terrain I would actually consider skiing. I think Nimbus is better than just about anyone at showcasing just how much fun it is to go out and ski with your friends.
My only complaint is the run time. For a two year project, 29 minutes seems a little short. But even if it means drinking cheaper beer for a week or two, you should definitely pony up the $12.99 to help these guys continue to generate awesome content.
Bought it, will watch it after work. Honestly, I would give these guys my $12.99 to keep making ski films just based on that trailer alone, that was easily one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen that involved skiing. Keep it up Nimbus!
Oh man.... I want to buy and watch this so bad, but I'm going to see it at Freshtival next week. I suppose if I could wait two years for this, I can wait another week and a half, but still. Just knowing it's available....
On Vimeo on demand. https://vimeo.com/ondemand/aftertheskyfalls
I personally prefer paying via this rather than iTunes as I assume Nimbus will receive more of my money than if I went the iTunes route.
Stoked to watch this in full.

Yes, I much prefer Vimeo on demand to itunes. Just bought this. The biggest thing for me is getting a non-DRM download of the raw video file in any resolution I want. More money to Nimbus is also a big plus.
just watched on itunes. Nimbus is on another level.
Also just finished watching. Being completely honest I was slightly skeptical that it was going to be a gigantic lifestyle shot. That's just the feeling I sort of got from some of the social media posts surrounding it. There's also some other films *cough* Into The Mind *cough* that were more or less that, so after a quiet two years from Nimbus I wasn't sure what to expect.
But oh no, aha After The Sky Falls is actually an absolute pow jib slay fest. One that also happens to be amazingly filmed in god damn stunning HD. There's a part where John Jackson blasts through some fresh and the way the snow fragments is mesmerizing. And yeah there definitely are lifestyle shots, but they make sense in my mind. It's the Nimbus crew horsing around, having fun in the region and then you get to see everyone sending it; no overly intense close ups of a Sherpa dude spinning a prayer wheel, and then you get to see an okay big mountain line...
It is only 30 minutes but I really do like shorter formats; Wallisch Project, Good Company, Brain Massage, etc. all perfect length for what they are. While some blame this on shorter attention spans of today and hate it, I personally think it stems for more demand of quality than quantity.
Overall this is just another awesome piece on an already stellar list of work from Nimbus. Hope they keep shredding and filming, can't wait to see what's next.
Just watched it. This is the best piece of ski film making I've yet to see, and I just watched Sinners and thought it couldn't be beat. Well done!
I've already watched it three times and i wont be slowing down anytime soon. Such sick skiing and film making. The entire movie was banger and makes me want to ski sooo bad!! Best movie I've seen in a while. Highly recommend!
Seriously loved this flick. So enjoyable to watch. Did a great job showcasing how much fun this really is. Will be watching this a lot.
Go download it. $12.99 is a steal.

couldn't agree more. long movies inevitably get boring and drag on. love the shorter flicks, and you listed great examples
@nimbus ... you dudes always put out rad stuff, awesome skiing, beautiful shots etc etc. Nothing at fault there. but...
Being self proclaimed artists, don't you think it's a bit weird to use blatantly non-licensed songs in your videos? I seriously doubt you guys coughed up the dough to license Lou Reed and a whole slew of other mega hit songs in your past videos.
With that being said, your stuff is totally cool and I've watched all the content you've put out over the years without fail... just a bit of a bummer to see that.
I bought it last night. So worth it. There were some insane shots. The double stager zero spin, even though it wasn't landed, holy fuck..
They kept this movie really fun. Kind of like Idea, but with a better soundtrack.
10/10
This movie shows what skiing with your Bros is all about

Yep, gets me stoked to ski with buddies and goof off

Thanks for the love and yes all rights were gotten, that's how we are able to distribute on iTunes, Vimeo, ect. It's pricey, the film is a net-zero project (we barely make to cover our costs) so every purchase helps, thank you!
Easily new favorite movie. So beautiful, so real. Watching this was like watching my dream life.
Definitely my favorite release of the year so far.
Prettiest ski movie ever. Just an all-around great flick. Awesome lifestyle shots and the skiing just puts a smile on your face. SOOO MUCH DEEP POW. Pep went fucking massive in a few of those shots.
Nimbus rules, you guys put out such a great piece of art.
