If you didnt know there is a ski area next to mt snow called hay stack is it even open? You can see the side of the mt at carinthia and it looked like they were making snow on it. Anybody know anything about that place?
It is now called The Hermitage Club, private ski area setup similar to a private golf club.
It used to be owned by mount snow, and your mount snow pass worked there. Mount snow sold it to some private investors a few years back and they went bankrupt before they actually got anything done. The guy who owns the hermitage then bought it and has now brought in millions in investment money and it is a private club ski resort. You either have to know someone who has a membership, have a membership, or be a local to ski there. Ive been up to the new base area/buildings over there and it is ridiculously nice
I kind of always wondered when I used to ride snow all the time years ago. I think west in NY just bought one of there lifts. Not sure if they're upgrading or it was a going out of business sale.

do they have a park? lol
413Crewdo they have a park? lol
Hell yeah they do. Most of what you see in carinthia is old stuff from haystack that they replaced and recycled.
The jumps are better at carinthia usually but the rail game at haystack is unparalleled.

Sarcasam haha? But they actaully do have 3 parks according to their trail map.
to add to the much more relevant and helpful info already offered, haystack is where that quad kink is that used to get hit quite a bit. it's in Wicked and Strike 3
My friends have a house at Hay Stack, so ice skied their a few times.
The nice part about it is there is, since it is lrivate, normally close to no one on the mountain. Even on a bluebird weekend day, you almost have the mountain to yourself. Also conditions are very good, lots of unskied areas. Really great for a pow day.
But the lifts are slow as fuck and unless you are hiking, you are spending most of your time on the lift rather than in the park.
My grandparents are members there and i have been skiing their since '12. their parks suck. good if your just starting but not worth it after you can do anything good.
Their main focus is not parks its more of an old people/ young kid mountain
