Does back protection help?

Last season I was slammed a tonne and I was thinking of getting a back protector or something and so I was just wondering if it helped much and which ones to get (cuz theres soo many different ones)

Yes! I got one last season along a tailbone guard and once you get used to the feel it is awesome. helps so much!

I think they help a lot! I use a Salomon one, it keeps you toasty and I feel that it absorbs a lot of impact when you have bad landings and all that. Also if you hit anything with your back it's more likely it won't hurt as much since you have some padding there. I always wear one now!
