?
I am not fucking retarded so no, I have not assaulted a cop.
If you mean punching him in the dick when he was trying to put hand cuffs on me, then no it's not really my thing
No but I know how to talk to cops and have talked my way out of arrests. If you aren't good at running fast they got you and you have no chance of getting away only charm even if you are drunk can save ya.
Cops love it when you assault them. My legal teacher at school was telling me about how cops charge you with a pretty low key offence then when you resist because the charge is fucking dumb they can pretty much man handle you and then charge you with resisting arrest and assaulting an officer.
Off course most police are nice and she was obviously talking about a very small percentage.

yeah its a pretty bogus charge. this cop started punching me in the face and after telling him to stop bc i wasnt fighting him he didnt so i pushed him into a wall. then the other cop joined in and they went to town. but yeah i feel like the cops were dying to beat me up.
cops are dangerous people these days. a different breed from in the old days. whatever fuck em

I agree there are a few shitty out line and superiority complex cops, but I also think a vast majority are good people that shitty people try to take advantage of. So I think it's unfair for OP's generalization that "cops these days" are dicks. There have always been dickish and out of line cops, but the only difference now is that there's more technology and the media. If you think about the US as a whole.. every single state, county, and almost every municipality has sheriff's deputies, police officers, or other law enforcement officers.. so the 1,2,3, or 4 you hear about in a negative light is an EXTREMELY small number. Some years you near nothing bad, but I deeply believe it's just been a year where a lot of crappy cops who have had it coming finally messed up. Other than that most of the good ones just want to stay out of trouble and go home at the end of the night like anyone else
Peter.well what did you do to get punched in the face in the first place?
Pretty much this. I find it incredibly hard to believe a cop walked up to you out of nowhere and started punching you in the face for no reason. It's actually pretty easy in life to not get punched in the face by a cop.
Not sure why everybody hates cops. Cops wouldnt do bad things if people didnt do bad things in the first place. I get that they make mistakes but if you see a cop dont be an idot.

I just hate how teens think cops are "fucking pigs" especially in my town, they just try to bust pot smokers/partiers which they just had a big bust because the kid always posts about having parties every other day on facebook and catch speeders. I only have a problem when the cops A: Abuse their power and B: When theyre just plain assholes. I was at walmart with a friend and walking in we decided to grab the 2 electric carts for handicapped people and put them on the chargers inside and my friend slightly bumped into the wall next to the outlet and a cop was leaving from grabbing some snacks or something and when he walked by he stopped and we kindly said "oh were just putting these on the chargers since they were left outside" and for a solid 10 seconds he stared at us trying to look like a fucking badass and then just walked away. Other than those 2 things cops are just doing their jobs, once they get out of line and go over the top with their power thats when the hate begins.

Couldn't agree more. The sad fact though is a lot of people don't even know the law.. aside from constitutional rights, and these people claim abuse of power when they don't even know their local/state laws, principles of constitutional law, rules of evidence, use of force continuum, or exemptions. I wouldn't expect average joe citizen to be a legal scholar or understand some of these things, but there's nothing more idiotic and for someone to put on a song and dance and say "ABUSE OF POWER OMGGG HE TOOK ME TO THE GROUND" after the cop asked you to stop digging around in your car when he doesn't know if there's a gun next to you or act hard and try flexing on him then act like a puss and cry foul when he finally punks you for trying to intimidate him

Yeah that's what worries me if I get pulled over, that I'll accidentally be rushing through my glove box for my registration and the cop thinks I'm getting a gun. These days it usually is stuff that's unnecessary but yeah when kids are panicking when a cop asks them to answer questions and they're like "you have no right to do this" it seems like you just gotta cooperate
I've gotten into some minor trouble with the cops (Looking back, I FULLY deserved it and was being a complete tool) I was all pissed off and thinking how they always abuse their power but I came to realize that they were just doing their job. A different situation was when I was driving my boat and New Hampshire boating police stopped me because I was plaining within 100' of someone. They said it looked about between 95 and 97 feet. They ended up towing my boat to my grandparents house (their house is on the water and we keep our boat there) they ended up coming up with all of these bs reasons why they pulled us over later, such as not having a visible type 3 throwable PFD (I keep it under the dashboard and the law just states that we need to have one and the operator needs to know where it is). They ended up giving me a warning and letting us go with no ticket. Not sure if they have quotas but I'm still pretty sure that they pulled us over because we looked young (a 16 year old and a 12 year old). So some cops are dicks but in my experience, if you don't do anything wrong, for the most part they won't bother you.
Seriously, OP. What on earth did you do to get a cop to randomly just start punching you in the face?

Id say like 10 percent of cops are like the guys in superbad, but thats it. You dont become a cop these days unless you enjoy having power u dont deserve.
Pre drug war era cops protected ppl.
Today if ur a cop and u bust someone for drugs, ur not chill.
To answer everybody....
because one of my friend overdosed at my house and i called the paramedics. after the paramedics left some cops showed up being very rude and threatening and as i was going to the bathroom one of the cops ran out of the room the heroin was in and put me in a very painful arm lock. He said he did this because i was going towards the evidence which i wasnt. Anyways the arm lock was so painful i had a natural response to try to loosen it so it wasnt as painful. At this point the cop let go of the arm lock and started punching me and elbowing me in the face. After simply covering my face while he punched me about ten times i basically went into survival mode and tried to push the cop away from me, because he was showing no signs of stopping. the other cop joined in punching me and they knocked me on the ground where they continued punching me and kicking me even though i was covering my head and showing no signs of resistance. Im getting charged with 2nd degree assault for all this and the cop made alot of false claims in his report.
So yeah. We will see what happens.

comment 1) that's a stupid generalization again because you obviously have some preconceived notions
comment 2) that's also not true.. think MLK days. A vast majority of fops protect people, and some screw up yeah.
comment 3) I guess I'm not chill then.. I mean officers have discretion on what we do . If you're being a jackass, expect to treated like a jackass, if you act like you're hiding something, expect to be treated like you're hiding something, if you're cool, I'll be cool. And okay, jamming up someone for a little weed is stupid when I'd just make them throw if on the ground vs give them paperwork because I've been there too, but I could give a shit if some junkie or crackhead thinks I'm chill.

what state did this incident take place OP? this might not apply to you, but in the several few years some states have been passing what they call "Good Samaritan Drug Overdose Acts" which in most cases make you exempt from charges of simple possession/drug paraphernalia when you report an overdose to the proper authorities and wait for them to arrive. (most also offer free access to Narcan....something you should probably get familiar with if you're slamming H) it doesn't sound like you were charged with anything drug related, but you could certainly argue that the officers wouldn't be in your house if you hadn't been the "Good Samaritan" and reported the OD. with a halfway decent lawyer+some discrepancies in the officers reports like you claim i'm sure you'd have a chance at fighting this.

Thanks man. I need more of ur positive energy,
If i go to jail im going to fill a ton of inmates heads with stuff that makes them never take shit from cops again. In order to change the way cops treat ppl in the us we need a war. I can start that war easily.
In order to be a truly good person, you must attack and destroy whats evil in this world. Narc agents ruining lives and destroying families IS EVIL.
Things will change. 20 yrs from now when the war on drugs is over, the type of perspn who becomes a cop will return to being what it was before the drug war. That being, a person who wants to protect ppl. not a bully.
CirilloPlay stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Some ppl need to push the limits. Warnick did, and its a tragedy but ods are part of the game. They just need to hand out narcan everywhere but they wont bc they would rather have addicts die then give the impression that drugs can be used responsibly.
IncognitoXLThey just need to hand out narcan everywhere but they wont bc they would rather have addicts die then give the impression that drugs can be used responsibly.
If the drug use or overuse requires an ambulance or narcan to save your life it's obviously not being used responsibly in the first place

swillyCops wouldnt do bad things if people didnt do bad things in the first place. I get that they make mistakes but if you see a cop dont be an idot.
It would be nice if it were actually like this all the time. But even in the most developed countries in there are constant cases of gross abuse of police power for no other reason than to abuse power.
Examples like cops picking up homeless aboriginals in the middle of the winter from downtown areas and driving them out to the middle of nowhere an dropping them off to freeze to death. Or just general abuse of power in peaceful protest situations (Quebec and Toronto G7/20 meetings).
Or when they put plain clothes officers in crowds to incite violence to give them an excuse to use further powers that otherwise would not be acceptable in a peaceful protest (Montebello).
This happens an unfortunate amount in countries like Canada and it really leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
If cops didn't abuse their power then law abiding citizens wouldn't have a problem with them. The problem is they frequently forget their purpose is to protect the public, not serve themselves.

Depends what state you live in because of this Nifty thing called "Medical Amnesty". Its a new bill that was passed in the past 5 years that, simplified, Allows people to call for medical attention in life endangering situations without the fear of law enforcement. Also, even if you lived in a state without the Medical Amnesty law, it sorta serves you right. Its heroin. I was as an EMT-B on an ALS (Advance Life Support) truck in Michigan, Specifically Flint. More times than not, the Heroin OD calls we receive are typically very calm since we recieve sheriff-County medic help since it is considered a tier one call. When we do have a combative patient, we calmly leave the residence, and wait for the sheriff-medic since they can usually diffuse a situation. When the situation can't be diffused, the taser is pulled out and additional backup is called.
Why wouldn't the officer think worst case scenario in your situation? Follow the steps with me:
-Heroin OD call, ALS arrives
- Optional step (Depending on state and county sheriff arrives or not)
- Your friend is taken away
- You don't dispose of the heroin and law enforcement arrives
- They assume you are going to get a weapon since you aren't in their site (Once again, heroin call)
- They take measure to dispose of a possible threat at risk of their lives
- They are alive and can go home
You don't think of other perspectives. I'm sorta surprised you weren't tased.

If ur asking me to put myself in the shoes of someone who takes pleasure in ruining peoples lives, im sorry, but i cant.
Inferior ppl tend to be angry and have a need for ruining peoples lives.
I work in a hospital.
I help ppl when they need help the most.
I cant relate to inferior dbag narcotics agents who think science is the devil.
You see, that's the thing, they don't take pleasure in ruining lives. You for some reason think every cop is out to get you. Yes, there are shitty cops, crooked cops, and cops that are just waiting to retire, but you think "Inferior people" enjoy wrecking your friend's life, yet for some reason your friend was ODING ON HEROIN.
You do see how that is hypocritical, right? To the best of my knowledge, no outstanding member of society was ever ODing on heroin. Heroin is a drug that brings violence, crime, and destruction to communities. Dirty money and firearms are just two things that come with heroin among the many others.
You say you work in a hospital (Which, call me crazy, I don't believe for a second you have patient interaction) I'm sure you seen what heroin can do to people, yet you allow for your friend to shoot up at your house. You are allowing the degradation of your community due to your friend's heroin consumption.
You see how you are a huge hypocrite, right?

Also what do you have to say about people like philip seymour hoffman and heath ledger.
Those twp oded on opiates.
And their minds were probably multiple times more powerful than yours.
But whatever man. Your awesome and every drug user is beneath you, highness
IncognitoXLThanks man. I need more of ur positive energy ...In order to be a truly good person, you must attack and destroy whats evil in this world.
Positive energy comes from positive acts. 'Attacking evil' won't get you there.
I'm sure no narcotic agent started out looking to fuck up families, they more than likely wanted to try to help their community. And after a career of dealing with crazy people in ridiculous circumstances, they get jaded.
I'm sorry you're in such a tough situation, but I urge you to evaluate why you're in a lifestyle that has such crazy shit going on, you can improve your life beyond the want of doing opiates. It comes with hard work, discipline and carefully choosing those you include in your life.

because some drugs don't ruin peoples lives, right? yeah all those cracked out bums and heroin users running around downtown sucking dick for more drugs or sharing dirty needles, pissing away their money hand over fist for some more crack isn't ruining their lives. Dealers exploiting women and getting them addicted to drugs to fulfill their lifelong dream of being a hoe runner doesn't ruin lives right? Yeah all those people murdered in the drug war by cartels that threatened and exploited young people to run their drugs , and didn't get murdered in some of the most gruesome fucked up ways when they said 'I don't want to do this anymore.
if you're cooking meth or whatever in my neighborhood you bet your ass I would want cops busting your ass. Here a good idea.. find a hobby other than drugs. There's so much to do in the world but you're so worried about getting your fix and how it will 'ruin your life' you should find something legal to enjoy.
IncognitoXLAlso what do you have to say about people like philip seymour hoffman and heath ledger. Those twp oded on opiates.
I'd say that ODing on opiates killed them so it doesnt matter if there brains were the most powerful in the world. It's a waste.
