I have noticed that the pipe cleaner and the scratch are said to be the most decorated ski. im sure there are loop holes and a slight difference in category or something. Anyone know something about this. What would you guess as the most decorated ski if you could just choose.
THEDIRTYBUBBLEIm gonna guess Volkl Walls
Oh I thought we were talking about the actual skis not medals won on them. If thats the case this is probably true
saskskierSalomon 1080
This is probably a good call.
Gonna go with the 1080 but I remember it was either volkl or Solomon had a race ski back in the day that won just about every award ever for a few years in a row

I am assuming that the OP is talking about most decorated "freeskis" but since he left it open, for sure a race ski will win this question.
But there are two points to consider:
1. Skis often change names every couple of years because the ski evolves (so winning streaks aboard Atomic 9:18 were ended by the Atomic GS:11 which were ended by the Atomic Doubledeck GS, etc etc.)
2. If a ski keeps it's name for a long time, then that ski (even though it may have undergone tons of changes) will be the winner simply because it has been around the longest. For example, the Atomic Punx has been around for almost 10 years and has a lot of medals to its name but the ski has evolved (changed) over those years as well.

If we were talking pure park skis then what do you think it would be? I wa trying to think and could not really decide what it would be. 1080 like you mentioned was around under that name for a long time. Pipe cleaner may be a good call too with all tanners results back in the day.

For sure a tough question... "most decorated" doesn't solely equate to gold medals but also to podium medals in general. And that opens up the discussion quite a bit.
Skis that would be in the running: 1080 (but Dumont won/podiumed a lot on varying versions like the SPK (ski) and Foil), Pipe Cleaner, Punx, Scratch, Wall...
There are tons of podium medals among those skis alone. Would be hard to pin a winner down for sure.
if your talking about most comp podiums id say you could through the Solomon suspect in there
I would say the Scratch, especially since it has not changed since 06 or 07. Still the same dimensions, still full camber, same construction. The name changed a couple times (S4) but the ski itself never did.
Heartcarve has been taking many podium places lately
I was thinking just freeskis not race skis but had not thought about how some companies may mean most medals/wins on the podium and some may mean awards like editors pick and ski of the year etc.
Line invader, first true symmetrical twin
Volkl karma. Just a great ski I don't know if anyone remembers them
