More and more on the hill I ride I see hipsters in their tight pants and lots of punk- influenced clothing, is the baggy style going completely? I love it and will rep it till I die, G for life.
This year im bringing back baggier clothes and a weird very purple full suit. I will not let this shit die. I think all styles are pretty cool, and Im holding onto the full baggy suit look. Come at me bois
it'll make a comeback, just like almost all styles do in regular everyday clothing.
maybe even somewhat soon
I think there's always a place for it. It'll just be a smaller chunk.
Are there still gangster snowboarders? You'd probably get your answer right there.
Rich white kids dressing as gangster wannabees doing one of the most expensive and whitest sports imaginable is probably the worst fashion trend that's ever happened in sports.
no way, im still rocking the xxxxl steeze this season

fuck that whole max hill style with the leather and tight shit and it seem all people that dress like that either ride line or surface and all they do is like tap into boxes and shit and do nose butters and ya your right they are like the hipsters of skiing and me personally ill never have that steezy im baggy for life, i mean yes everyones open to dress how they want and ski how they want but its just not my style
humptyno way, im still rocking the xxxxl steeze this season
Same. Gotta support the og steez life
Obviously styles come and go just like anything else in sports. There will always be people keepin it G like the old days but Just fewer and fewer. Another important factor is how brands are advertising and the styles of clothing they make. With more brands promoting slimmer more fit outerwear its easy to see why so many people wear it. Now of course there's exceptions to that with brands like Virtika or Tall tee productions but you get the jist.
I think I'm not going with that xxxxxxxxxxxl steeze this year, I might dial it down a bit just enough so I need suspenders but not so tight that they stay up on their own

I want to hit you
fast_ass_cam_I want to hit you
you're so thug
As long as kids listen to rap, there'll probably be some folks dressing baggy like it's 2009. But I doubt it'll ever be a big trend again. I feel like it kinda maxed out, and most people lost interest.
Now people are wearing things closer to what they'd actually wear off the hill, which makes sense, no?

No
I like the style of skinny pants, but I personally look atrocious wearing them.
Being 6ft and 140lbs I look like a fucking praying mantis in skinny gear, so it 5xl G till death for me
You should come to Québec...if you see a park skier that do not wear really baggy clothes...Ill give you 5$

Lol this made me laugh

It's hard being a tall guy Cus the skinny gear never fits you length wise. So 8xl for life
I use to be into the baggy stuff, but now I like wearing the (gasp) proper size. Large all the way for me boys, still like my taller cut jackets though. I think a lot of people are starting to do the same thing.
a bit more than marginally too big is the best size

idk short shorts in the NBA were pretty bad homeboy!
AND I'd also like to apologize on behalf of all of the rich white kids for not playing their role properly. They should go back to demonizing gangster culture like their rich white daddies told them to and exclusively don racer gear, right Vinnie?
jk I love thug steez and for better or for worse its here to stay bra. imo it helps keep skiing silly and fun and prevents it from becoming a serious sport!
when its all said and done I think we could all give two shits about how people dress on the hill as long as they leave their ego in parking lot

@Fredyferl
You wanna PayPal me that $5?
who gives a fuck? wear what you want. only thing cornier than someone in clown clothes (in either direction, baggy or tight) is someone in clown clothes who is painfully self-conscious and more concerned with what they're wearing and what image they're portraying. Skiing is so fucking fun. The rest of this shit means nothing.
G's don't check in with the internet to make sure that their clothing choices are acceptable. Get a grip.

Yeah I'd say that was a legally binding bet. Can confirm Fredyferl does not wear baggy clothes.
Neither does Marty B.

I always say, nothing better to do in the lift line than look good. ;)
I can dig that, and I'm definitely not saying that I don't try and look 'good' (relative term, right?), but corny as it is, the thing that always looks the best on people is confidence and comfort in their own skin. If you're dressing vastly different on the hill than in day to day life, I don't get that—but whatever fine do what you like—but if it makes you feel unsure of yourself or ignites some lil' complex where you're worried about how you're looking to others, it's just stupid.
I know everyone has seen that person in some really "notice me" attire but who doesn't really pull it off because you can almost see them looking down at themselves like, "I'm not sure about this...". That's the stuff that has me shaking my head.

Yeah...I know, I was gonna make him an exeption but yeah hahah
Not everyone can dress as well as Jon Olsson. Fresh and euro as fuck. Tremendous
McLSGuys, The Bunch.Baggy steaze fo life
There's like 2 members that dress baggy, the rest wear relatively skinny/fitted gear

Lol I ride surface outsiders and I hate wearing skinny pants
Thug steeze never left! it just changed, look at all the Hollywood thugs wearing tight clothing now.
I like it pretty baggy but not over the top. theres a fine line between thug and trying too hard.
i like to rock baggy shit at alta. it scares those high-t skiing, arcteryx wearing, big mountain hot rydas.
Fucking good. It was one of the most embarrasing eras in skating, snowboarding and skiing.
Everyone who is pretty good at park wears baggy clothes here in Minnesota. One guy was rippin in a baggy nun costume
yall really think your style of skiing depends on what you fucking wear?
VinnieFRich white kids dressing as gangster wannabees doing one of the most expensive and whitest sports imaginable is probably the worst fashion trend that's ever happened in sports.
i think one of the worst trends in the world is thinking that your background dictates the rest of your life...
to the OP just do you, and keep it interesting. thug style isn't gone, its just more refined. I personally love dressing "thug", i don't need to explain why, it just feels right. if people are hating on a "style" or "trend" that's just because they are too insecure to be comfortable themselves, and personally i just don't have the time or energy to deal with that shit. when it comes to style the cream rises to the top. be you, be authentic, for better or worse, and when you see people on the sidelines who aren't there yet, just smile and wave as you shred past 'em.
jibber1000yall really think your style of skiing depends on what you fucking wear?
Yes
BungHole.Yes
skiing style =/= clothing style
skiing is 80%how u look, 15% how u talk, and 5% who ur with. duh
the hipsters will go back to baggy when you go tight
as long as bdog and henny still around the shit will stay hood
I live in France and finally more and more people are going towards baggier clothing
if baggy style is dead then tall tees are also dead but they aren't so baggy styli is alive and well.
If one day they stone making my 2xl coats im buyig a fucking fur dress like ur Italian granny from NYC wears. I'm for now sticking to wearing a good old capitals jersey
