Curious to see what your favorite skis have been over the years? I have only ridden Armada and Rossignol. Heard good things about tins of skis but haven't had the chance to try them...so what's your favorite ski?
i would have to say a tie between the ar7 and the dynastar trouble maker from 07/08
Favorite: 2012 Dynastar sixth sense distorter. I hate soft skis, but this was an exception. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat if the still made that exact model.
Number 2: 2007 Ninthward firstblood. Ski charges so hard. Its almost 10 years old and it only has an edge crack and some top sheet chipping.
Number 3: 2013 Armada pipe cleaner. Gets soft after a couple months, but it's a very durable ski. Just wish it was qider
Oh yeah and I bought some surface outsiders so those will probably be at the top of my list when I ski them.
As of now, rayzrblaydz. But by the end of the season I'm anticipating my new fav will be the layzrblayzds
Out of the 4 skis I have ridden, I would say my Kartel's have been my favorite, followed by my Nordica Avengers
I skied the 2016 Atomic Automatic 109 recently and it was very, very good. I don't think a ski has ever put a smile on my face quite like it, they are really quite excellent.
189 4frnt Turbos or 1st gen 192 Elan m777.
Petitions are such a fun ski to rip around on, line motherships are really good too but not as good in deep snow.

For my personal riding style my favourite ski ever is the 2015/16 Blizzard Cochise. Always looking to be impressed by something new though.
A family friend who taught me to ski back in the day gave me a pair of Atomic Alibis as a graduation present. I mounted them up with some 4FRNT deadbolts on MFD plates a couple cm back from center and have skied them in every type of snow with joy. Those things rail on groomers and have such a tight fun turning radius but are as stable as my ON3P Wrenegades. They're just wide enough to float and skinny enough to get engulfed in the deep. They're light to spin on and hike The Ridge with, and I love them.
Of those I've owned, three way tie: 2008 Scott Punisher, 2nd gen Bent Chetler, and 2012/13 Magic J (still riding). Genuinely can't split them.
