Dear Andy Parry, Khai Krepela, Forster Meeks, and Cole Drexler,

Dude, they made an entire Oscar-nominated movie about this.
"Cole Drexler Stars in: Canadian Sniper."
The sniper taps Khai was doing at COC were all-time. Such a sick movement.
Been trying to figure this out too. They are like impossible
pop a few feet from the end of the rail and shifty hard! thats how i learnt them
not hard once you figure em out but be careful, if you tap the rail too hard you'll mess up your sidewall/edge
shit all i know is i just transferred from the big jump in shredsauce to the top of the wallride and snipertapped the fuck out of the end of the rail. shit was ill haha.
if you don't break the rail you didn't try hard enough

Why did I laugh so hard at this.

This. Sniper taps have a sort of backflippish concept, they're not too hard, you just have to try it and see.

Please explain, I see no correlation between a backflip and a sniper tap aside from the fact that both are performed on skis.

He didn't mean the form, he meant they're actually pretty easy- just gotta go for it.

No for real, instead of popping off the rail early and doing a hard shifty, pop off a little early and hick backflip. Perfect sniper tap every time

Aren't those tail taps then?

It's not that they're similar tricks, I'm saying that they share a sort of concept where they look harder than they really are.
a trick I've been waiting to see/attempt myself is a sniper tap to front swap on an a-frame or dfd
