None of my friends can make it to Japan next winter. I might just go alone. Anyone have experience at ski holidays alone? How is it to go by yourself?
Definitely not as fun as skiing with friends because you just can't really get as much hype and excitement by yourself as you can when skiing with a bunch of mates. I personally (as i'm sure most people would agree) prefer skiing with a few friends, but skiing alone is still better that not skiing at all and its Japan so the thought of skiing in an immense amount of the driest pow in the world always a plus.

I agree, skiing with friends is way more fun. The bad thing is I think I'm too old for camps bc I'm 20 and it seems like the adult summer ski camps are full of 40 year olds learning moguls :/
I would go 100%. All skiing is good skiing even if your friends aren't around. Fill up your ipod and just pump tunes all day while skiing.
Well I ski alone 75% of the time any way, and Japan's gonna be all powder and you know what that say about friends on a power day.
nothing wrong with that at all, just meet some cool people on the way. I met a really cool older guy just bumming his way around resorts and ski areas one day skiing solo at snowbird, definitely gets you stoked to see passion like that.
