So I went to the local trampoline park today and I did two inverts and I'm confused if one of them is a flat five because they felt real difference.
neither of those is a flat 5 your spinning/flipping forwards flat or rodeo 5 you look like you're doing a misty
EvanMeyerneither of those is a flat 5 your spinning/flipping forwards flat or rodeo 5 you look like you're doing a misty
Really? Im almost positive I am not doing a misty... I have done it on skis and its feels nothing like these...

Definitely a front rotation. To me it also looks almost like a misty
Flatspin = off axis back flip
Rodeo = back flip + lincoln
Misty = front flip + lincoln (ding ding, winner)
You threw forward so it would be a misty, it would have been a rodeo if you opened up your shoulder and your chest was up, in this your shoulder was down and you threw forward
iantheunderdogWhat is this?cork 7?
no, cork 7 is more of a rotation, that looked like an underflip 7/ back full

Thanks man I actually have done rodeo 5's and cork 7s into an airbag on skis. And ive done them on tramps. I just didn't know what invert I was doing. Thanks for clarifying man!

Yeah! As what I can see, you're doing a misty moves.

Ya doesn't it look different then a normal misty though? especially the first one.

It felt kinda like a flat spin but its forward so its a misty
I just call flatspins rodeos cause it sounds cooler and doesn't confuse my snowboarder friends

Wtf, flatspins are more like leftside spin with an rightside lincoln. Still flatspins are set forward too on tramp i just think of them as switch corks and they come around perfect.
Rodeos are backflips wich get off axis by setting them more like a lincoln. Rodeo 5's for example just pull the last 180 around in the end. Flat 5's are more like a smooth rotation where you spin an full 5

Both are misty, the only reason you feel they're different from the one on skis is because you're looking up during the rotation which can trick you in thinking it's a backwards rotation. But it's definitely a misty, in fact the proper way (imo) to do them on skis is to look up like this, plus they feel much more dope.
iantheunderdogWhat is this?cork 7?
This is a back full (basically backflip 360). closest rotation to it in freeskiing terms would be a dspin 3 (roughly, because dspins are normally 720)
So I think I do a bio 7, bio 7, flat 3, flat 5 - maybe rodeo 5, barani/misty, then maybe a lincoln/side summy. But i'm really not sure. help NS?
I'd call it cork 7, cork 7, flat 3, bio 5, misty 5, lincon
bruh how do you flip forward and call it a flat/rodeo

This video helped me the most out of any tutorial. Just make sure not to be afraid when trying them and you'll stomp it! Good luck!
Those were definitely, 100% undoubtedly, misty 5s.

bio 630, bio 630, flat 3, flat 5, overflip/brani, lincoln
i think those bios would look more like a cork once you took them to snow though, especially if you held a little bit of an edge. get that last 90 around though.

thats a bio, not a misty
I learned Rodeo 5 before Flat 3. The motion is easier
