so what exactly does it take to get sponsored? I know you have to be good and film and what not but are there any specifics that companies look for when receiving a sponsor edit? Or how does that work because I know that's how it goes in skateboarding. I'm no where near being good enough yet but I figured if I want to try and go some where with skiing even if that doesn't mean going pro, I might as well know what I should start working towards to try and make that become a reality. And I'm not talking about a not well known company even though that's probably what I will end up going for at first, what would it take to go flow for a company like armada, or a company to that extent.
There you go, if you have any further questions e-mail the man himself.
Being able to sell skis. Being marketable. Having a great social media presence. Putting out quality content. It helps if you can ski.
if you are really good at skiing, the industry will destroy any chance you get in your "ski career", no company owner is rich enough or cares enough to give back to park rats... your best chance to get sponsored is to start your own company. market yourself and your crews ability to generate media with whatever reputation you got... than you can stick to what makes you happy, SKIING.
