Hello, I'm looking for some park skis. I have decided which one I'm going to buy but I don't know which size I should get. There are two sizes 176CM or 181CM. I am 15 years old, 179CM (5'11)long and weigh about 55 KG (121 LBS)
Thanks in advance.

176 will probably be better as you weigh So little. What ski is it though as some do ride better in larger sizes. But at 120lbs and only bein young you will more then likly enjoy a slightly lighter ski with less swing weight. Stabilitilty should not be an issue as again your so light.
.Washington181 for sure. Also, what skis?Head The Caddy. Seems like a good and durable ski.

ahh alright. as youre 15 and still growing quickly i would get a 181. you would really be fine choosing either option. i was faced with the same situation when i was 15 (im now nearly 17). now that ive grown im glad i got the longer length. most manufacturers list a certain length, but once the ski comes out of the press its usually a little shorter. Head skis are usually very close to the listed length so dont worry about that.
tl;dr - in my opinion the 181 is a better option as you are still growing and are likely to progress more, in which that longer length will come in handy. you cant really go wrong either size tho

Yeah they are great skis. Reasonably stiff to so you should be for sure fine on the 176. Enjoy them.

It's an interesting way to do it and not one I would recomend often. With skis generally you will probably get a couple of seasons for a park ski. In that time he may grow or he may not. If he goes for the longer size he is stuck on a pair of skis which he may or may not grow into. If he gets the shorter they will allow him to progress from day one and if he does grow in a couple of years it will be time for new skis anyway.
As as some reference Noah Wallace rides the Caddy and he has a 176. He is 1" sorter then op but 45 lbs heavier so if Noah can ride the shorter pair I'm pretty sure the op will be fine.

Haha its all good man I just see people recomend huge skis to people early on all the time. You would be surprised how many pros ski on what would be considered a small size by NS.
It's a personal decision but I'd probably go for the 185. When I was in high school I faced the same dilemma and my dad bought me skis that were taller than me and taller than I had ever skied. They seemed long for a bit but I had a ton of energy at that age so it wasn't a big deal to work a bit harder. It turned out that my parents didn't buy me new skis again and then I was too strapped for cash to buy my own skis in college. In the end I was pretty glad I had the longer skis.
