this could probably go gear talk but anyway. i recently got armada thalls and asked for them centre mounted, though the front still is longer than the back? whats thego there, my freind said they are centre though so it makes no sense
Flip the skis, if the toe piece and heal piece match up then your skis are perfect centre :)
The heelpeice is longer than the toepeice which could make it look like it's mounted back From center. Measure it if you want to be sure.
Shop tech screwed it up, set it center over the sidecut you dun goofed OP

was going to say this, when the heelpiece is collapsed it will make them look mounted farther back, just eyeball it from around midway between where the boot would be and i guarentee it's most likely center mounted if a shop did it and you asked them for it
If there is a center line on the top sheet or graphic of the ski, then you can match that center line up with the center line of your boot, this would show you if it is center or not. On the inside of the boot near the bottom there should be an arrow pointing down and this is the center of the boot.

Sometimes the factory recommended center is -1 or -2 though.
OP, Are you wondering if your skis are factory center or true center?

Oh, well one of my skis has a perfect center line and the other skis don't have any lines so i drew my own center line
Sounds normal. My bindings are mounted behind center but just looking at them they appear like they are mounted in front of center. When I first got them mounted I had to measure to make sure they were really mounted where I wanted them.

THalls have a true center mountaing line on them I'm prettttty sure. My 2011/2012 THalls definitely did.
Also OP, I had this exact thought when I first got my THalls true center, especially because mine were the rasta ones with the big solid colors so I could clearly see the heel piece crossed into the colors farther back, but I assure you they are true center. Also if they aren't exactly true center its not going to matter that much. I ripped a binding out of mine on a switch landing and they had to remount them like -1.5cm on one ski and -2cm back on the destroyed ski and they skied the exact same. Don't get too obsessed with the mounting point, just go ski and trust me that your skis are true center.
Good luck!
Yeah thats the thing, they probably are but it looks like the front is longer, maybe just the toe piece and toe end of the binding makes it look like that but im not sure
