Was just wondering if any of you guys have skid on the 2015 line chronics, and what you thought of them?
the recommended stance on line skis.com is 40mm from centre, I'm keen to ski them as a park ski so was wondering wether you could centre mount them
I Really enjoy my Chronics. Very lively and light ski, great on groomers and park. Needs an sharp edge if you're on harder/icy snow as it has a softer flex.
My biggest complaint is that the build quality is sometimes not the best. On one of my skis the base material did not reach all the way to the tail edge. So make sure you give the skis a careful once over for any obvious defects.
I think I mounted mine at -2 from center but they feel like they would totally ski well at center. But just to be sure, ask the tech as I think they are not symmetrical so maybe it might be better to mount at sidecut center rather than true center?

Yes you can center mount them. I have mine center mounted and so does everyone else that uses them in the park

Chronics to me are playful but heavy. All my line skis have been a crap build and peel day 1. I'm switching to punx.

The chronics are seriously lightweight lol. And they seem to be lines most durable ski. (They're the only line ski I would ever buy)

(They're the only line ski I would ever buy)its probably because I changed bindings too from the future spin but when I did the chronics felt like they were twice the weight. They are way more durable than the other line skis I've had but they still peeled very easily. Hopefully the punx are the stiff and lightweight with a high quality build in looking for.
I own 3 sets of Line skis: SFB, chronics and prophet 98. I just enjoy how well they all ski. The SFB and prophet were both fine builds, just the set of chronics had a defect which will hopefully be warrantied. I'm still a pretty green park rider so to me the durability is decent (I take my sfbs into the park as well and almost think they are more durable and better built than the chronics).
If you are looking for very nice build quality and durability I would recommend a look at On3p. I have a set of Jeffrey 114s and they are tank solid.
