first of all, yeah from what I have met at sugarloaf a fair amount go there. Its like 2/3 people who want to be teachers 1/3 skiers. but second its like 25-30 minutes from sugarloaf no matter the kind of skiing you want to do, sugarloaf has it. theres no reason to go to titcomb over sugarloaf.

I would only be going to titcomb for night skiing, though I did just notice their hours kind of suck (open till 6 only wtf?). Whatever, I'm sure I'll get plenty of skiing in.

Im in the process of transferring there to be a sophmore! Pretty sure everyone skis/boards that goes there. I'm definitely going to try to get in on the OC/ski and snowboard club as well.

sick, do you know where your dorm is yet? I'm on first floor of dakin, wanted to be on the Outdoors floor but that was full.
I lucked out in that I don't have any classes the night titcomb stays open late, and plan to spend the rest of my time between sugarloaf and sunday river.
Hey man I work at titcomb and help maintain the park. Its small, but at only two years old its pretty decent.
Seasons passes are FREE for students... no joke.
And UMF is a overall good school. Its mellow, but you can still have fun. And its Outdoor Rec. Business Administration and Alpine Ops programs are fantastic.
Lets shred!

It takes 45 minutes to an hour, I grew up in farmington and have been making that drive for a good while.
Yo so I have been going to UMF on and off for awhile! Its a damn good time! Go to the Ski and Outing Club meetings, itll probably fall on its face like it does every year, but in the first few meetings you will meet the best people to get drunk and hangout with.
Gypsy rail is dead, but I would assume something will get rebuilt. Theres some urban around campus which is fun. Just make sure you dont get stuck in Farmington, life here is best enjoyed outdoors.

Fab is nice... But the people that live there.... IMO are generally some straight slicing folk who I don't necessarily love hanging out with. Get an apartment because that shit is tight
