I'm pretty stoked for this to hit Canada whenever that is or if it even happens.
From what I have heard it's only like $20 for unlimited text and calling, and then $10 per gb. Seems like a pretty good price to me.

Yeah, its huge man. $20 just for texting and calling is outstanding and then you just pay for what you use, its awesome. AND the data price is the same internationally as well, thats a fucking game changer.

That's insane. I wonder what they have planned for international calling if it's included in the regular cell plan. I think we should be at that time(technologically) where we should be able to call anywhere in the world for no extra charge. You can do it on the internet already, so why not just have a cell phone plan that has it included without a ridiculous extra charge.
So is it VoIP or are they building there own network? Sorry at work and wasn't able to watch the video right now.
that wasnt that informative.... like at all.

The site says unlimited text international, low cost calls.

Basically, they have access to tmobile and sprint networks, whichever is strongest you will be using and they claim 'one million wifi hot spots' around the country/world? that you can connect to seamlessly of course along with your personal/friends/works wifi as well. check out the site there is some good info there too.

How so? It literally explains everything...?

i checked out the website and got a way better feel for it.
this certainly has the potential to be a fucking game changer. although, not quite sure how well it'd work in your more rural areas? I'm at work, so I haven't had time to read through all of the documentation. The only thing that could be a big hindrance would be if you're limited to major metropolitan areas. will definitely be keeping my eye on this though.
I used to have a sprint iPhone 4s until about 3 months ago, but it did the same thing. If there was no sprint service it would connect to verizon

I'm pretty sure it is still VOIP though and they are just getting the 4G/3G whatever from the cell towers.
