Is anyone good at statistics? What's your major? What about stats do people like?
I'm taking a third year stats class and it is killing me.
I get it can be really rewarding when it goes well, but it's like another language to me.

I hated stats and was terrible at it. I didn't see much point in it during my undergrad, but it became much more relevant once getting involved in research and doing my masters.
meh like accounting it's not the math I thought it would be.
yea I always enjoyed stats and did really well in stats classes in undergrad. There's something about doing an ANOVA entirely by hand that's very rewarding.

This. You 100% need it for any kind of paper/data producing science. No one cares what you have to say unless it's supported by math.
business analytics......
the first few stats classes suck because you cant see the relevance. but once you learn the concepts the 400 level courses are much better.... forecasting, business applications, decision theory
