I have a friend that apparently got up to 75 miles per hour according to the app. I find that really hard to believe honestly, he skis fast, but thats really really fast. anyone know how accurate the app is?
I think the distance/speed is fairly accurate for me, but it can't count the number of runs. I've had days with 80+ runs and the app only said 30.
Me and shin-bang supposedly hit 96.6

Sheeiit if you toned it down a bit and gone 88 you could have gone to the future, assuming you are wearing a flux capacitor on your back.
CLAIMMMMMMMMMMMMM///// me and .lencon vvvv one run at pebble creek
and to answer your question op.. the app is 100% accurate ;)
It definitely glitches with speed. I've had my phone read 60mph and a friend's read 75 as we went down side by side. If I had to guess Id assume it glitches high. But you should try and reproduce it! Repeatability would make it legit.

there's no way you can do 80 runs in a day.
even if the lift only takes a total 5 minutes from getting on to off at the top that's already nearly 7 hours of a 7 hour ski day.

I don't know where you ski, but my mountain is open for 11-12 hours every day. 700' vert and high speed chairs only take a couple minutes to get to the top. I've done it many times.
those apps arent reliable at all. in a baggy outfit on twins i don't think you can get much higher than 60s

Ropetows. Ive easily done over 100 runs in a day. And the hills around here are open 12+ hours

Pretty much any Midwest hill witha tow rope you can get 80 runs easy.
