Hey guys
I wanted to buy some Line Blend in 178, center mounted. I ride all mtn but I'm starting park this season.
I'm 5'6" & 121 lbs; do you think 178 is a bit long for me ?
Thanks!

depends on your skiing ability but I would say yes, they are a bit long for you. I'd personally go for like 168-172 max at your height, especially if you're getting into the park. if you're just learning, it's nice not to feel like your flinging around 20 feet of ski.
for reference, I'm 5'10" and ride a 176 and a 183. I've even considered dropping down to a 171 for strictly park skis.

Thats a bad idea. Youre gonna lose a lot of stability on jumps
If you ski a lot of all mtn still 178 would be fine. If you want to spin around on rails a lot then 171 would work.
Thanks for all your answers!
So yea I want to spend more and more time in the park, and when I'm out of it, I'm not dropping huge cliff, but I do like to ski pretty fast and jump everywhere I can.
I can have a good deal on the Line TC or The Volkl Kink in 171 if some of you could tell me about those ski too?
I’m 5’7” 140lbs and ride a 178 for park and a 184 for all-mountain on the east coast. If anything get a park ski in the low 170’s, you’ll be surprised at how fast you progress.

I only know a bit about the TC. they are a remake of the old line anthems. they are pretty wide underfoot and rather soft/buttery in the tips and tails. I've heard they are incredibly fun in the park.

I'd go for the kink over the TC if those are your two options. The TC is pretty soft and isn't as enjoyable out of the park. The kink is more all mountain and is a great starting point, especially if you can get a deal on it. The only negative feedback I've heard is that the topsheets chip easy, but that can be said about most any ski that isn't over $500.
Thanks again for your comment guys.
I can grab the TC for really cheap, the Kink are actualy much more expansive (400€!)..
The TC are that bad for all mtn? I mean I'm really lightweight

The TC is a 92 underfoot ski. It will be great as a all mountain ski.
It's definitely not too long, but it's definitely on the longer side. I was smaller than you when I started riding some 175's and it honestly made me a stronger skier
