so normally i go onto the rails facing the right side and im just wondering would it be smart to learn tricks the other way too? I know that getting comfortable sliding both ways makes a lot of stuff easier like 270 on and front and back swaps but is it necessary to learn tricks both ways?
yeah just spend a couple hours just learning unnatural its hard at first but it gets super easy after 5or6 tries and is definitely worth it. it will also be really easy to learn some basic tricks like some swaps and 2 off and stuff if you spend more than an hour trying it.
It is very smart to learn. my biggest regret in skiing is not learning how to slide rails both ways when I started.
Learn them both ways early, I started getting better at unnatural this season and its so hard going from spinning left to spinning right after so many years of going one way.
it definetly does help alot , espescially for stuff like 2 on pretz 2, blindswap pretz 2 ... . Just go and try to take every rail unatural for 2 hours and you'll develope confidence fast!
I really never hit rails unnatural because I always come off early or fall, I actually find it easier to 2 on or front swap/ backswap to unnatural lol. Is this the case with anyone else?

it's the case for anyone too lazy to take the time to learn how to get on a rail unnatural regularly. I'm guilty.
