I have been filming with a gopro hero 3+ silver for quite some time now and really want to step up my game while filming. My friend has proposed we use his canon eos rebel t3i but from past experiences with this camera it has proven to record terribly shaky footage when handheld. I have been looking at camcaddies but feel that they are only made for holding and not stabilizing the camera. Also I have seen plenty of footage from glidecams that looks amazing. Are they worth the price? Is there any middle ground for stabilizers as far as price and quality goes? Would a camcaddie stablilze the camera at all?

Flycam nano is absolutely amazing for the price you pay for it. It's a pain to balance but, once you get it the stabilization is pretty unreal.

A handheld tripod works well for stabilizing. not necessary as well as a glidecam but it's alot cheaper and gives you pretty good results.

I don't know wether they ship to the us but check out Steadydrive...
I think they're quite pricey for their quality!
