has anyone skied them, if so how do they feel. About to pull the trigger on some just would like to know how they ski/feel.
also looking at the revision talisman trying to decide between the two
dude pull that trigger. I love mine. I had a hard time deciding as well, but I went from k2 domains, to line blends, to these and these are by far a winner. I'm going to be a long time HG fan as long as they keep doing what they are doing. Their cambered, soft style ski is genius. They're super poppy, flex for butters yet hold good enough to jump comfortably. I also like to ski all mountain and these ski's turn on a dime and never chatter at high speeds. They're def fun in some deep snow but they're def not wide enough to be a full time pow ski. I've had mine since the beginning of the season and they are holding up great, about twice as long as my domains.

What about the revision talismans has anybody skied them?
yeahmonWhat about the revision talismans has anybody skied them?
I ski the talismans, theyre a good park and all mountain ski, for a fair price. their weight is just about right for a park ski of their size. the edges are not 2.5mm by 2.5mm, but they are not that far off, i have compared armada edges side by side with these and the difference is not that noticeable imo. bases arnt the fasted and they could be more durable (i missed some disaster this year and i have a small gouge in between the tail and underfoot), but they are not super slow and will hold up well for the most part. my topsheet looks like a park ski topsheet lol but altogether the topsheet and sidewall pretty durable. the cap construction in the tips does make a difference for durability and swing weight, but it does not have as much cap as the AR50 side wall in armada park skis. the flex is nicely balanced imo they are not noodles but they are definitely not boards, and they carve and pop nicely.
the talismans come with small rivets attached to the ends (two in the tip, and one in the tail). warning if you are buying some of the earlier pairs, the rivets will fall out easily, however you can contact revision for a new set, and they will quickly mail them to you. the new pairs have the updated rivets in them that are hardier then the original.
all and all good ski for the price. they are fun!
I own them. If you think you want them, you will be very happy with them
I myself love the style of HG and Revision. Never ridden them and never really seen anybody ride them in real life. My friend is planning on getting the tailsmans next season and debated the Stingers. Regardless of your decision you will probably rip with them. Hope you find your choice man.
