I'm going to be in Worcester over the weekend, and I've never been there before. Anybody know a nice sit down place, nothing too fancy, to get dinner? The type of food doesn't really matter, I'm not too picky...
I took your mom to the Olive Garden in Worcester last night. It wasn't too expensive or overly fancy, but it did the trick and got her in the mood, if you know what I mean.
There is a Mexican place right on Mlk blvd near the highway/ dcu center. Good is pretty good, but my recommendation is to never go to that stupid town. I worked there for two months and absolutely hated it there.
i heard they have an exceptional wendys there
Burger king if you want to kick it in the lounge
I dunno. Google "best places to eat in Worcester".
Worcester has gotten like 92" of snow this year, I recommend you build a igloo and have an authentic eskimo dinner.
Try Volturnos Pizza on Shrewsbury Street. Nice high end pizza and italian food and not crazy expensive. Flying Rhino (Shrewsbury Street) is also good but a little more expensive and Mezical is pretty good for some good Mexican food.
we got this little shed that only sells crabrangoons and some eggrolls by some Vietnamese lady. highly recomended. Eggroll lady and fish shack
shiiit 93" looks like 3.5 feet. everyone is either bitching or hyping it up, the roads are fine. but ya hit up that egg roll lady shits pretty good.

There's a few places in the area that are exceptionally good to eat at. If you don't mind venturing outta wooshtah try the Kirkland Tap and Trotter or Craigie on Main.
Also, there are a few pretty decent places in the area. don't remember them but it's MA so there is a fair amount of good shit
Ernies Pizza. Large pizza is only 7 bucks and Ernie is pretty cool but he's a heavy smoker and his voice box is gone.
Ernies Pizza is also in the nice part of town and you occasionally get to meet the kid that lives above the store, he's hopeless but nice.
killabees^cant hang
You're right. If you worked for the cunit that I did you couldn't hang either. Then add the commute from Boston and you'd want to put a bullet through your head.
youre getting the easy traffic in that case! havent you seen rent in worcester? shoulda got a nice place for CHEAP and then leisurely go to boston whenever you want cause your saving so much rent money

Had been living in Boston with a lease for 5 months when a "great" job in my small field opened up. So that wasn't an option. Regardless if it was the easier commute or not, at 6pm from Newton to Allston it was still 20 minutes which made my commute 1 hr 20. Not fun when your last commute was walking for 7 minutes.
