Just curious to see how many other ns'ers participate in any other sports. Or is skiing either competitively or recreationally your only sport? Personally, I play lacrosse year round and recently gave up basketball to ski more.
Wish I could ski more but finances/country allow for two weeks or so a year.
otherwise I play tennis, swim or lift.
I play searchable competitively, I'm in my nation's top five, highest finish at the European championships was a bronze medal one year ago.
During the summer I also partake in Google website search comps. But those are not my forté.
Depending on your definition of "sport" this may be considered a hobby. But during the summer months I Drag race.

But can you do a backflip?
I can play a mean game of badminton.
Anyone up for a game of winter badminton?

Wtf is this?
When I was in High School I played Football and Track & Field. I also have played basketball and baseball competitively and I wrestled for a couple of years.
Now I just ski for leisure and hike as much as I can.
Eazy_EBut can you do a backflip?
Only when my fanny pack is not bringing me out of balance.
Champion knob gobbler.
But actually I was recruited to play d1 tennis, chose club volleyball instead. And I play a mean game of hockey despite how terrible I am on skates, stickhandling skills are prime.
Pretty much everything but only did soccer, basketball, baseball, cross country, diving/swimming for team sports.
IF we go outside of that the list would be huge as I would think most peoples would be.
I sail.... But most people dont think its a sport, including myself so, but my highschool says otherwise.
I competed for USAG(USA gymnastics) for 9 years. After that I played rugby and volleyball throughout high school.
not any more. i play the occasional game of squash, swim a couple times a week, hit the gym, and try to ski a few times a winter. that's about it. it aint bad, but i wish i had more time for it. school full time + work 25-30 hours a week is rough right now.
Golf, this past summer I got into road biking, baseball, and the occasional game of tennis.
I have a lot of hobbies but not competitive like wakeboarding, hunting, fishing, etc.
i played golf throughout middle school and a little into high school, then i played baseball and football all throughout high school. I was actually pretty good at football. Senior year i was first team all district and had some awards from my school. I miss football a lot :/
I play tennis because I like perpetuating stereotypes
The most competetive sport I play is soccer year round. Used to play hockey. You can still catch me at the local rink all the time though. I used to play baseball but fuck that.
I play the fishings with the fly, and moving heavy things.

I am competed in the Google website search comp last year. It was rough, I got booted in round one when they asked me to find examples of different people asking the same question on forums. Its tough man. You better practice leading up to the comp.

I miss football to my man.

youre the perfect rich white kid
Wakeskate(comps and such... pretty high level), Longboard
I speedfly... It's kinda a sport. I'm new to it, but in love with it.
played lax year round all through highschool too. so goddamn fun
Dirtbiking, mountain biking, longboarding, snowmobiling, and hunting are what I am up to when not skiing.
I like to longboard in the summer time. not really athletic but I'm really into making art
I slide my body through pee water for some fucking reason
League of Legends... E-sports are still sports.
But I golf and used to play hockey until this year, apparently goalie pads have gotten a lot more expensive since the last time I've bought them and fuck paying thousands of dollars for a weekend activity.

Dude I'm 6'3 and I was able to find pads for 300 ish bucks (35+2 Reebok 9000). I just play beer leagues, so I don't need top of the line equipment but you can get decent stuff on a budget.
soccer, golf, slack lining, sailing, wake boarding, waterskiing, biking, ultimate frisbee.... I just like to get outside. and i dont know if kendamaing counts but I do that a bit too.
I guess I do a few. Mountain bike, road bike, swim, run, motorcycle, squash, golf, hike, climb, ultimate, and as a bit of a hybrid thing I am currently training for an OL triathlon. I guess my cardio is fairly covered, if only I lifted weights so I could actually build an upper body.
I used to play Rugby, and Hockey. Now I just play Golf in the summer and Squash during the winter.
if posting dank memes is a sport call me a professional athlete

I outgrew just about every piece besides my helmet and with the time I would spend playing, I'd much rather just put that money towards ski trips. I plan on coaching again as soon as I'm out of college though, I'm not ready to completely give up the sport quite yet.

Haha, fair enough. I played when I was young and then took an 8 year break. Had some buds sign me up for their team and forced me to buy all my gear again lol. Fortunately they had some hookups and I got a bunch of free (though used) equipment. Now on my third season back and am loving it again. Definitely an expensive sport though.
I played D3 football and golf for Bates College and also club lacrosse. Golf is definitely the best college sport you can play. Going from miserable football practices to playing 9 holes after class everyday was amazing.
Golfing is a big one, also pole vaulting. I dabble into tennis, mountain biking, and rock climbing.
If you ever get the chance to pole vault, DO IT.
