My dad has a jacket from 1979 that is still going strong. What is the oldest/ most durable thing that you have ever owned?
NinetyFourTopsheet looks amazing to. The other model year P4's don't like as nice though.
Damn, I wouldn't mind a pair of these.
Late Early 80s Woolrich jacket sees very frequent use- it's super comfy and warm, looks good, and is a good length. A pair of '07 Pipe Cleaners are on their last legs (and their 5th mount) as urban skis. I like to get good use out of my gear, hah.
Some K2 Revivals the first year they did the Iron Maiden ones, I bought them new when they came out and they are still going strongish, the edge on the tip caved in when I slammed into a rail, the binding ripped out of the ski but I got them remounted and use them as an urban ski but they still work! I had a pair of volkl ledges for one year and they got obliterated I counted 20 edge cracks on each ski, and the edge was separating from the sidewall like the boys and girls at a middle school dance. Thanks K2 for making your skis durable but stiff as shit.
08 Kung fujas, the only reason I feel I need new skis is the length, other then that they work perfectly
My oldest gear is ski socks that in had for like 5 years
Rossignol scratch fs 2004, bought them in 04 and broke them in 2012.
I still use my Volkl Dragonslayers 05 mogul ski once in a while just last year.
I wish i had some og claim but I treat my gear pretty rough. i have some scratched up spy goggles from 2008
Actually just realised that my current main skis are my trusty old Salomon Teneighty's from 2004? with the S912Ti bindings.
Indestructible, no edge left, wicked top sheet, complete noodles, so playful also since they are only 161(I bought them when I was 13/14ish.)
10 years old... damn Salomon knew how to make skis.
I have Rossi Scratch Brigades from '08 that I still use as rock skis. They have core shots but I still use them for early season.
I also have a pair of Rossignol 7S straight skis that I inherited after they were abandoned at Big Sky last season. Bases are in perfect condition. Found them in a gear guide from 1989:
Somehow, these are apparently slalom skis. My pair is 183cm.
I have 2014 Volkl Ledges. I started skiing last year.
My dakine heli pro is from like 1997. Can't do anything to hurt that thing.
my local sport chalet has a pair of ar5's from 2003 and they still havent sold them.
.Dinosaur.I have 2014 Volkl Ledges. I started skiing last year.
Nice bro. I had shitty rossignol rentals my first 7 years of skiing.
Ryan_HansenNice bro. I had shitty rossignol rentals my first 7 years of skiing.
Yeah that's why I got myself a job at a shitty pizza place and saved up to buy them.
ShredabilitySuper old SPKs I pulled of some old race skis... those things are fucking epic
What the fuck am I talking about...
FKS*
i have a couple pairs of ski socks that have to be over 15yrs old.
Adolf.HitlerYeah that's why I got myself a job at a shitty pizza place and saved up to buy them.
I wasn't old enough to get a job.
i've got a like 7 season old helmet that i still wear. More than likely has long passed its expiry date.
Until I finally outgrew it I always borrowed one of my dads old down jackets from the 1960's thing was epic, he still uses it out in Russia.
pat_in_the_hatmy two pairs of 747 equipes. hands down the best binding ever made. and they are older than i am (25 years old)
Do you mount yourself?
08 line ep pros. Most durable ski I've ever been on. Can't break them
Calrinstraight out of 1994
Jesus Christ, they've lasted that long? It was a good year though.
Calrinstraight out of 1994
I got a pair of those as well
Dads poles, mittens, jacket from the 80s. Some time I bust out the occasional 195 longboards of his.
Not much compared to most of you guys, but my pants are from 2009, just black North Face
My dad's Sierra Designs Goretex shell from the 80s is my favourite jacket of all time, still waterproof and breath's better than my recently purchased Orage 3L gear.

these are my only skis, and if I had the 09's which have rocker I probably wouldnt even want another pair
