I'm torn between the Armada JJ and J Skis "The Friend" and I'm asking for your humble opinion on each one whether you own one or don't. What I enjoy most about the JJ is the matte finished top sheet. It just seems to look a little more durable from scratching and scraping. I like the Friend because it's produced in North America and has a pretty sweet graphic with both options. PLEASE HELP!

These are going to be my powder ski. I ride Line Blends for Groomer/Park days. Looking to replace my 2012 Opus's. I didn't really dig that ski much, so I'm looking at these two options.

The only difference between the JJ and Opus is how they flex. The JJs have a hinge point where they flex at, whereas the Opus has a more smooth flex throughout the ski

Yeah but the friend is very similar to the opuses... Remeber jlev-jlev not much change

not really though, because pollard mainly designed the opus, not jlev. I'm sure there is influence from the opus that has gone into the friend skis though

I understand that pollard designed the opus but when comparing that and the friend they are a very similar ski and the jj is diffferent than both of these skis. Think about it this way the friend and opus are 1st cousins and the jj is the adopted son.
