I might've just set the record for quickest injury this year. An hour into day 1, I took a weird fall and landed on my wrist and now I'm waiting for the meds to come.
Anyone in the same boat I am?

Dude that sucks! I hope you get better before the season ends. I'm not injured yet but I broke my back last year and my knee is feeling funky after training everyday at my schools weight room but I'm hoping for the best
.Hugo.what the hell tony
lol you should talk.. at least my brother got a snapshot as it happened

Home in Duluth. We moved outa the TC this past summer.
dislocated my shoulder.......again. Back to PT.
Well I fractured my ankle in October at a rail jam. Does that count?
powerbong2000dislocated my shoulder.......again. Back to PT.
I dislocated my shoulder on opening day 2 years ago. Unfortunately, that was after a major reconstructive surgery and 9 months of physical therapy! It has felt weaker ever since the injury.
Caught the tips under a rope that was hiding in some pow. Face planted and hyperextended the ol back. Still skiing but icing every night and going to a chiropractor every couple weeks.
I had knee surgery on the 21st of last month but was still able to slide around today for opening day!
idk about earliest injury, but I might have longest injury streak... past 4 seasons have had serious injjury taking me out for a solid amount of time each season. that shit aint happening this season
osgood schlatters in both knees, ive had it since 2 seasons ago and the pain is real.

MRW I looked at who texted me and then looked at the message.
Hopefully you heal soon and we can get out shredding. healing vibes man!
Broke my femur two days into season a few years ago, that was shit. Enjoying christmas with bread and cheese in the hospital, fuck yeah!
i skiied for 5 minutes and developed some gnarly shinbang. Im still recovering. Hopefully i can be back on snow in a couple weeks.

Damn homie.. thats some serious shit right there.. Make sure to take all the time you need to recover.
Sending vibes your way that your poor shins man up quickly.

Let me know when the park in bumidj is fully setup. Ill make a trip
My bud just took a tiny spill on his 2nd day of skiing and ended up fracturing one of his vertabra and got some nasty bleeding in his spleen. That's at least a month down the drain, sucks so much.
Im hurt in the heart....im stuck in Argentina for the whole season so i dont even get to see snow until next season
Snapped my collarbone at Snowflex at the begging of the month, till have to wait till Dec 20th to ski.
I dislocated my tailbone last weekend from landing on a rail on my tailbone but it fully recovered in 4-5 days. Must have been minor, but I couldn't sit down the day right after.
Last year, November 11th, I got a hemorrhagic contusion in my brain
I was tight as fuck
OP I broke my wrist 2nd day of the season last year on a stupid small hand drag 1...so I was in the same boat as you are basically.
Just know that you will still be able to ski in a month once you heal a bit and have a solid cast on. That is assuming you are a pretty solid skier and know how to fall.

I broke my wrist and ribs 2 years ago and never missed a ski day.....
I pulled some stuff in my upper arm last week falling off a rail. I couldn't lift it.
Fractured my Scapula (shoulder blade) playing rugby at the weekend, was supposed to be going to the Alps in 3 weeks but that is out of the window now, should be ok by late January though in time for a week in Vancouver
danlyfeosgood schlatters in both knees, ive had it since 2 seasons ago and the pain is real.
This is the worst!!!
Third rail hit two weekends ago, I landed weird and temporarily dislocated the same knee that I partially town my acl in last season. So I'm taking it easy for a month.
Probably not gonna make it onto the snow til January. Spiral fractured my fibula 8 weeks ago, and it's not been as quick a recovery as I'd hoped.
I guarantee I had the worst first day last weekend. I was driving up to vermont for the first day of skiing and I hit a moose on 89 that went through my windshield and broke every bone in my body. It sucks to be out for the season on the first day.
I was skiing on a pair of blades and tried to do a switch 720 off of a jump but I landed wrong and busted out my ankle. Still waiting for the dock to tell me what I broke.
JAHBRADORim sorry but this is not a real thing
Actually it is. And, technically, you can dislocate any joint with enough force.
I got to ski for 2 hours then I went to my hockey game and got knocked out so now it's gonna be 2-6 weeks before my season actually starts
A bud of mine hyperextended both knees and broke his right ankle....on the first day...
Tore my ACL on November 2nd, 5 days into the season and it's already over.... sucks so bad!

Only half a season! Keep strong. First day last run I do my stock trick but it's snowing and I don't have enough speed, under rotated, over corrected to the wrong side and got my 12th concussion. Legs, cheap beer and lots of that one funny comic dude on here...i think i remember his name....and SEAHAWKS!
Broke a vertebra 3 weeks ago...
Luckily I'll be able to ski again in December or at least January.
The night of opening day I passed out at my homies party and now I have a concussion so it'll be a couple weeks

That recovers in 4 days?
I've had slivers that have lasted longer.
Well, if this makes anyone feel better, I slipped in my driveway and fell hard on my shoulder with a sling on.
Fuck.........my...........life.
Jah I've been hurt since fucking June. Rehabbing hard now to hopefully ski by January. Torn Posterior Tibial Tendon from a trampoline accident.
did something to my knee yesterday, idk what it is but rotating it doesnt feel too good. hopefully its just a muscle strain or something.
Around the 30th run I got my first concussion ever. Don't remember that day one bit

My buddy tore a ligament in his knee on his third turn of the season. He needs surgery and is out for at least a few months.
