I had an "opening day" countdown clock on my phone since June...just hit 0 today! What have you been doing to prepare? New skis, Outerwear?

Checking for changes in the weather every 5 hours in hope of Snow in the SoCal mountains,
buying tons of gear that I probably don't need
I.e. 3 pairs of goggles from various newschoolers,
Also just bought new boots so I'm stoked to try em out
I've been getting reallly drunk, very often in anticipation of the amazing season that is ahead of me.
been hitting the gym and running a shit ton. completely re-amped my setup since its my first year out west. been watching ski films on repeat
In October I was really good about exercising every day. Now that I'm in my ski town I've barley done any exercising, eating discount sushi and drinking from the local brewery. Still like nine days til the mountain opens.
Selling all my belongings so I can pay for this season. And lots of ski movies.
