I'll be the first person to say. This years saga pants are nothing amazing. It seems they are pulling away from the baggy look and trying to go for more of a fitted style. What do you guys think about this? Is baggy going out of style?
I've noticed less people wearing baggy pants at my home mountain. I like a baggy hoodie but baggy pants get in the way IMO.
I've never owned really baggy pants because I always felt like they would get in the way haha. I like the more fitted look to be honest. I still love baggy hoodies though
i absolutely love having room to move around in my snowpants so i bag mine quite a bit. Im still diggin the steeze to the knees style and i dont feel like changing anytime soon
Baggy is just different now. We like to base our anomie style fit off what steve, cheddar, LJ and durtschi say. Lately they've been asking for loose fitting but doesn't get in the way.
I too like the baggy look. But it is a style, it will eventually go out of style like every thing else does like the infamous onesie.
nah i don't think it will go.
i mean look at snowboarders they have been wearing baggy stuff forever

Alrighty, that's rad you guys fit for them. Wasn't sure if you were trying to change the current style.

I have noticed it for sure, a lot of people on my hill are starting to say baggy looks stupid. I love it and always will thiugh
I wear baggy cause its warm and easy to layer under.
Baggy has been since I was like 11, it's me now, and it will be me when I'm a 40 year old dad.
I've also never experienced this "baggy gear gets in the way" bunk that people are always spouting. Even when I was a mogul skier being scouted for my provincial team, I had no intentions of wearing anything with less than 2 X's before the L.
I believe that the Saga is trying to make us all look like queers and are taking over the world. Since Saga only makes pants up to XXXL I DONT FUCK WIT UMMM
Watch all the 12 year olds shift from wearing ridiculous baggy pants to wearing tight as shit pants.

ill shift my style accordingly to not be like the 12 year olds
So what. If you like wearing baggy, then wear it! If you like wearing tight purple jeans then do it! Who really cares what other people wear, I think everyone should wear what they like, and don't hate others/get hated because of their outerwear look.
I'm not giving up on the baggy look just yet. With it getting down to -30 or more where I ski, if you go skinny/fitted, you freeze.
Nevah!!!
Baggy is swaggy!
tight is for OP´s
usually I have suspenders going with low pants and the buttons not done up so I have lots of room
personally i like fitted if not tight pants with a huge not like baggy but just really tall hoodie. never really got into the baggy pants phase.
I'm a fan of more fit pants it looks more clean and slick.
i have fitted pants and i sag them a little, looks clean to me at least.
VANULARill shift my style accordingly to not be like the 12 year olds

Did you buys size medium or something?
baggy pants have always been kids buying pants that at 1 or 2 sizes bigger than they need and sagging them to their knees, nothing has changed dude.
i prefer pants that are comfortable and stay dry, could care less what they look like

The idea of fashion and things going in and out of style is so weird. If you define your style based on what type of clothing certain companies make or by what styles are trending, you're doing it, and probably so many other things wrong.
everyone is so concerned with how stoked other people are on the way they look.It all comes down to enjoying the way you ride, not the way you look.
I have never been into the super baggy outerwear, but I see how it works for some people. I guess I have always been too self conscious to ride anything super baggy. To me it also says something about how the person wearing it acts. They act like a total thug even though they are a 13 year old white kid from a well to do family. Makes them look super fake, I for one stick to what I am. Just an average kid. I wear whatever I feel like riding that day. Some days are baggier than others.
It also changes on what I'm doing. If I'm riding park all day I'll go with more comfortable outerwear maybe a hoodie on top of some layers and then whatever pants I want to wear that day. If I'm skiing in the back country I'll layer up the Gore-Tex and go for function.
Some folks will probably rock it till the day they die (just like the old folks wearing their 70s vintage onesies), but teenage sheep will follow fashion trends. Looking at snowboarding, that is no longer way oversized pants. Fine with me.
Last season i rode a more fitted pant but this year i decided to go ahead with a baggier pant and jacket to see how it feels/looks. Also lets not lie to ourselves guys, it has never mattered how good you ride, the only important thing is how good you look.
Mr.BishopWhats next after tight pants?
no pants
personally love the way some guys have converted to skinny style but honestly.... who dah hell cares!! i dislike this thread because it screams bandwagon. do whatever. i liked the look of fitted pants with nice cardigan, however fr me skiing the icy east coast makes it hard to stay warm so i usually layer it up with a baggy sweater or large jacket on top. styles will change with time but dosnt mean you have to. ride whatever makes you feel good and dont give a fk what others are wearing, the only rule i may have for ski gear... if your gonna look the part, you better perform the part.
