I have dynafits mounted on my touring / powder skis and I plan on skiing some side country while I'm in montana this winter. Is it stupid to ski pow with them if I'm not touring?
not stupid, but not ideal. That'd just be a lot of useless wear and tear in my mind
Which Dynafit bindings are you using? Something like the beast of course is meant to handle all types of skiing, touring or aggressive. The short answer: Yes you can, its what the binding was made for

That helps! The radical was meant to help be a little more aggressive for downhill and you can still get away with it. As the previous poster mentioned it may not be ideal depending on how aggressive you want to ski, plus a dedicated binding will also properly release in case of a crash.
