I was wondering how good symmetrical powder skis work such as the Surface new lifes compared to non symmetrical like the armada jjs. Would it be more difficult to ski powder if its mounted true center and would it be better for backcountry booters?

I've got my New Life's mounted centre and I love them. 194 is maybe a bit big for a daily driver, but it's close (and doable). That's the only issue I've had with them. I haven't skied any other more traditional pow skis, but haven't had any trouble with them being symmetrical.
