As the season is approaching, I find myself sitting here admiring my mittens and awaiting the first time I get to break them out on the mountain. Ik they're Neff but they look dope.

lol those wont work the thumbs are on the wrong side.
Pretty much these, but slightly different color. Not to hijack, but rated 4/5 warmth on Dakine website, but could still be a lot warmer, even with liners. Anyone know how to keep warmer hands?
Got these for christmas..best gloves/mittens ive ever had. Holding up great after 2 seasons
when you get tired of fucking around with chilly childrens mitts, get yourself a pair of choppers.
super warm mitts, GTX and i got them of an absolute steal!

Warm core = warm hands and feet
Choppers
This style of work gloves for liners
Never had cold hands even on the coldest of days.
the zombie mittens
if for some reason you are an expert in late 90's walmart grade mittens, tell me if you know the make and model so I can get new ones

If your mitts have space to accept a liner try getting some of these dipped gloves from home depot:
Then just use those inside your mitts. Some of those gloves have thicker rubber than others, I like thicker ones. I have a set inside my Swany Toasters and they were mega warm all last season. The nicest part about them is that if the palm of your mitts soak through from hiking rails, your hands will still be dry.
I have always used these Swany Tri-plex mittys and god they are always comfortable and warm no matter what.

Had 1 pair when I first started snowboarding. LOVED THEM and never went back to gloves.

Do you actually use the backhand pocket/access zipper for anything? That's why I like the the Toaster's index finger pocket. Set up with the dipped gloves, they're mega warm, and really nice for doing fine stuff with your fires through the side pocket.
To the two people who downvoted my pro tip post up top, take note of the glove in the bottom left corner... You probably just seen gloves and downvoted without reading the post.

I really don't use it much for anything. I've been in some pretty cold temps with these and never even felt the need to slap a hand warmer in these, they're so nice.
Hestra all the way! Best mitts ever. Also the wrist strap thing is very awesome, don't know why there's still gloves made without them.

Probably because they weight like 10oz... I'd rather have a little thing than 10oz extra to carry in my pack
These. Best mitt ever. Cheap, warm, durable, low profile. What else can you ask for?
i don't know how to embed but i just got black diamond spark mitts they are fuckin sick. my other mitts are some og b-dogs

It might be a language thing, but I really cant figure out what you mean. You mean that the small straps weigh too much? Or the gloves weigh too much?

My dad has these for crosscountry skiing. They are honestly the best
these things are great. 2 seasons and the only issues are that the design is coming off and the extra leather stuff on the side of the fingers has ripped off.
Gunna pick up a pair of these bad boys

I use these when it gets real cold out
Very confused as to why my post was deleted lol
gonna buy a new pair this year to because i used my mittens so much atleast 120 days on the Empire mitten.
I can't find a picture but I have some level gloves from 2 years ago that are fantastic. They used to make my hands too hot but now that they're worn in I don't have the same problem and they still keep my hands warm. They're leather though and I should get some waterproofing this year

HippyKiller007I have the same ones dude...wouldn't choose anything else!
love mine aswell
Got a pair of these for 15 dollars from the Army Surplus store. Super warm no matter how cold (thinsulate heatkeeper insulation). Waterproof even if the outside of the leather looks wet and soaked, my hands would never get wet. Very durable, i wore them at least 70 days last year and not even a scratch. These things kick ass and look cool in my opinion. Best 15 dollars I have spent and probably will never wear another glove.
^^ I have those too, love them for anything below freezing temps. Waterproof them and they'll wick away everything. Pretty much impossible to rip the thick leather too.
