praise based god
although some people may take high offense to that, i find that fairly funny.
i can also come to the conclusion jesus does not love your mom if the amendment is true

I'll give credit where credit is due, this is fucking hilarious! Good job OP!
Jesus was a man and imaginary or not, men love tight pussy. Why were those so mad?
Why didn't you guys put this up when I lived in Reno? super bummed now
All i see is a positive message, religious or not, being tainted by some young punks. Fuck you punk. Fuck you in your fucking face. You fucking punk.

Really? I see two equally upsetting acts of vandalism on a public barrier.

I might of laughed at that if I were still in 10th grade.
Are you an atheist orrr...?

No. I just don't really care for organized christian churches in my area.
The referenced post has been removed.
so can we conclude therefore that Jesus especially loves tight teenage pussy?
1 point as a provocative street art installation, -2 points for the "we showed them" impression I got from OP (intentional or not)
Someone put up "Jesus Works for Us" on one of these overpasses in the bay area a few years ago and somebody changed it to "Jesus Works In the Kitchen"
TheSeaCaptainReally? I see two equally upsetting acts of vandalism on a public barrier.
Qfe!
On another note, this reminds me of something I saw on the news yesterday: They were quoting the nurse who got Ebola and she said something about being blessed to have so many people taking care of her and wishing her well. Blessed!?!
What does that even mean? Where the fuck was Jesus or "God" when she got Ebola. I grew up catholic and the amount of contradiction
is unbelievable.

Why are you trying to start a religious shit storm in this thread?
Kooky_LukeyWhy are you trying to start a religious shit storm in this thread?
I wasn't going to start a whole thread on it... This seems fitting. Plus, no religious person is going to ever answer the post anyway. Way easier to ignore questions like that

But Grace is having a fall festivle soon.

Just playing devils advocate, but aren't a lot of christians like "if it's God's will it should happen"? Maybe she thought God intended for her to catch ebola, like her time on earth was complete or something like that.
I think that logic is fucking ridiculous, but I've seen it before.

Yeah, that is what I figured too. So, she is blessed that she got ebola and that she is getting so much support.. This means that if somebody gets in a car accident they are blessed as well. If all of God's actions are actually blessings then he can be really sadistic, and good. Makes no sense to me

If that's her belief that everything is already planned out. Then there's no reason she should be thankful. None of it's going to matter, because being thankful or unthankful, isn't going to change the outcome. people have a hard time believing that bad things can happen to them. So they have to tell themselves a lie to feel better. Everything is meaningless art is a lie.

What isn't there to get? she's blessed to have all these people caring for her instead of nobody going near her......
.frenchyWhat isn't there to get? she's blessed to have all these people caring for her instead of nobody going near her......
So, God blessed her with Ebola? That is fucked up. To teach her a lesson or something?
louie.miragsSo, God blessed her with Ebola? That is fucked up. To teach her a lesson or something?
She didn't say God blessed her with ebola.... She said she's blessed that all these people are helping her.
What, you think God will just let everybody live for eternity without diseases, wars, and plagues?

No. I think the theory of God is just comforting. What I do not get (and what you're not getting) is why is God blessing her with these caring people, but he isn't responsible for ebola? Another example, people will think God for saving their house in a tornado, but how about the other houses that weren't saved? That doesn't make any sense?
for fucks sake guys give it a rest
OP you made me laugh

mos def unintentional, we did it not to flex our muscles at the original sign and its affiliates ("Jesus Loves You"), but because we aren't religious in the slightest and thought it'd be a great opportunity to rile some laughs.
louie.miragsSo, God blessed her with Ebola? That is fucked up. To teach her a lesson or something?
im not religious, but you're missing the point of believing in god, its not believing that through faith you will be protected from all of lifes harm, its that you can share your burden with a higher power and for some people it means a lot.

Yeah, I get that... Like I said the main reason people are Religious is because it is comforting. Easier to use God for the answer than really know why. But, why does he get thanked for helping, but not for hurting? Nobody thanks God when she got ebola, just when she got better??

eh i dunno, to each his own i suppose.
funny banner, but does this reek of hypocrisy to anyone else? OP claims he detests christian churches in his area, probably because of the beliefs they have and how they go about spreading their message, yet thinks its okay to go out and fuck with a banner put up by someone religious in an attempt to spread his message.
just leave them the fuck alone, both atheists and religious people are fucking dumb when you guys attack each other. both sides are massive hypocrites.

It's pretty simple. God is good, therefore people give God credit for the good things that happen to them.

why would someone be thankful for getting Ebola?
I dont really find this so much offensive, as I do just plain stupid and am forced to ask myself why you would think this is a good idea.
okay so lets say little jonny and his mom are on their way home from school. You said that you live in an area with religious groups so its safe to say that most kids know who Jesus is. Little Jonny asks his mother what pussy is. Now can you see how stupid those actions are?
I really am starting to think I am to old for this site.

kid: Mom whats a pussy
mom: a cat
kid: yeah cats are pretty neat.
Its funny because it pisses religious people like you off, you're butt hurt.

What the fuck is a tight cat?
And that remark towards religious people was pretty unnecessary. He had a point, I wouldn't want my 9 year old nephew seeing that... Maybe you don't get, whatever. Doesn't matter, shit's long gone by now.
Maybe I want to raise my kid as an atheist, so from birth I'll do everything in my power to not teach him about religion, and keep him in the dark so he'll agree with my beliefs. Now here this Jesus loves sign and i have to teach religion to my kid, that's offensive to me.

Hahahahaha what?
hahaha this is definitely the best advertising i've seen on i80.
This is pretty funny, way to go OP. Related, My gym teacher had "soccer is all about kicking and passing" written on the white board, that with a little crafty erasing was changed to "soccer is all about kickin ass". This was back in like 8th grade so it was pretty funny.

My views on religion have nothing to do with this, if it was a meme posted on the internet I would find it as funny as everyone else. The problem I have with it is that it is just offensive in general. For example, I am not the largest fan of the President. If the sign said "Barack Obama loves tight pussy" I would have the same problem with it.
