Ski-protection

Hello,

I am doing freestyle-skiing for 4 years. I use body protection but I do not have a good experience with it. They are expensive and it takes more time to put it on.

For my graduation project on Design study I'm thinking about making a new sort of 'back-protection' what protects the important lumbar vertebrae (L1 t/m L5), that provides you can turn your body.

What do you think of my idea?

what percentage of injuries involve the back? if it's high sure go for it see what you can do.

However I have a feeling most injuries involve the knees or the noggin, unless you're Candide. In which case back support is nothin but a nuisance.
